Oakfield and Herne Hill schools

Hi there
I'm considering sending my son to either of these schools in September, and would be hugely grateful for any experiences that people would be willing to share.
Having visited both, it felt like Oakfield had a warmer and less pressured approach than Herne, which I think would better suit us (although basing views on a 1 hour visit is very difficult!). That said, I've heard Oakfield has experienced some upheaval in the past, and therefore any views on stability with the most recent head would be much appreciated - she seemed very impressive when we met her.
