Hi, Has anyone been through a stage 4 complaint with a school before? We are now at this stage with the school and I feel like I am being fobbed off and the matters are being brushed under the carpet, just wondered if anyone could offer any advice. Many thanks
You will need to define what you mean by a "stage 4 complaint". Complaints procedures differ from school to school and LA to LA. On the assumption that stage 4 is referring the matter to the LA, you will probably find that the LA will only intervene if the school has failed to follow its complaint process correctly or has made a decision that is clearly unreasonable to the point that no sensible person could possibly have arrived at that decision.
