What tights with grey pinafore?

The school does not specify what colour the tights should be. I am thinking black is a bit sad next to grey. Would navy blue be better if I can have navy blue shoes? what do yours wear with their grey pinafores?

The school jumper is royal blue by the way.

You will find grey very easy to come by. Then you can have black shoes which are also very easy to come by.

Ours doesn't specify socks/tights colour. So I send DD in brightly patterned ones

All the schools round here match tights to their jumpers and have back shoes. Are there any photos on the school website so you can see what the other children wear?

If you can get them, grey tights, my DDs swore they were softer and nicer than navy (at least M&S ones are.) DD2 liked grey socks too.

Although I have a friend who passes on tights & has a thing for woolly white school tights. So dd2 quite often rocks bobbly, grubby, once-white tights.

Grey is definitely the smartest option.

dd has the grey pinafore/royal blue cardi too and has either grey tights or white socks either ankle or knee high. black tights are fine too.

We are allowed black, grey, navy or white.

DD1 is deadly with white so I restrict white to go with summer dresses. (Think skating round the floor with white socks/tights.)

I think black and navy can look faded quite quickly, so I prefer grey.

I've never understood the need for separate school tights unless the school requests it, or the child wants to.

Dd has worn all sorts of colours and styles, ditto shoes, coat etc.

Has to be grey at our school, no other colour acceptable, but it goes well with the grey skirt/pinafore and royal blue jumper and they are easy to buy.

I think any other colour would look most odd tbh.

We're allowed grey, black or red. Sweaters are red, tops are red or white.

I am beyond excited (no, really) that sainsburies are stocking burgundy tights this year as I don't like boring grey and these ones match the maroon/burgundy cardis perfectly.

DD's school is royal blue jumper and grey trousers/skirt/pinafore. Tights wise, I would say grey only (with black shoes).
