Most kids are doing Dr Who my son is Yr 5 wants something different I thought Doc from Back to the Future but not sure if it counts any ideas

Harry Potter in whichever book it is where they go back in time to rescue the Hippogriff?

Artemis Fowl also travels in time in several of the books, however unless your DS has an Armani suit & a good Irish accent he may be more tricky as a dress up character

What about Henry from "The Time Traveller's Wife"? Possibly not on the reading list of your average Year 5 but it could be a refreshing change from a sea of Drs and Amy Ponds.
