Hi, can anyone help? I recently had a parents evening and my ds teacher informed me what levels my ds was at.She then went on to say they would like them to achieve a 1A at the end of Year 1 and it used to be 1B. Do you think this is a target set by the school? or has the levels changed recently to raise standards. Thank you.
1B is an expectation for most children based on end of KS1 expectation (there is no official level for Y1) obviously individual children may be capable of achieving higher levels which will be reflected in their personal targets.
