Just that really. School have introduced this this week with a brief e mail. I was in fully composite classes in the 80s and have always loathed them (it really didn't work for me) but this is only for 15 mins a day (I think, from dd's y1 explanation!).
Does anyone else have this and what is meant to be the advantage? I get why they stream, I just don't get why the need to involve children at vastly different stages of maturity?
Maybe I am just behind the times, so would be happy to find out what the thinking behind it is?
