Arnold House Assessment

As required we put our DS name down at Arnold House before he was 2. We have now had the tour and met with the headmaster. The next hurdle is the ?assessment? which happens in Jan/Feb 2013. Does anyone have any idea what goes on at the assessment? We were told it was not skills based and they just wanted to find out if our DS was a nice polite boy but I am getting a bit stressed about it. Any insight would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Don't stress. My boys have been through it and none of them were or are geniuses. They are asked to write their names (one of mine couldn't) and to look at some pictures to tell what is real and what is not and to do some colouring in. They basically want to know whether your child is nice, can follow basic instructions and is roughly socialised. I'd say the meeting with you is the most important bit.

We are going in for an assessment at AH next year. We are terrified about the parent interview and the kid's assessment as our son is quite shy of strangers at the moment. I would really appreciate any help that anyone could offer?
