the next day it all falls flat on its face. Sad and Angry

She's in year 5, two teachers jobshare. Monday she came out all excited, they were told they could in groups choose an event relevant to the school, research it and then write an article about it. The teacher said she would organise clipboards for them and cameras so they could work like journalists. Next day, it's the other teacher's turn - she has a go at the class because all the groups chose the same event - they were never told they couldn't, then she says she wouldn't get them the cameras etc because she didn't want to. Totally killing any enthusiasm. Aibu to be cross?

Good thing Teacher 2 isn't editor of a newspaper. I can just imagine her telling the journalists, "No, the other paper is covering the story of the Cabinet Minister's unexpected resignation already. We shall steer clear of that one. Why don't you write a nice little feature on the price of apples instead?"
