hie, i have two DDs aged 5 and 7 in primary school in westmister at the moment. thing is i would like to move them to another school as the standards at their current school are not great, i was wondering if anyone knows of any good (non denomination)state primary schools in either westminister or kensington and chelsea? and how i can best go about starting the process of changing schools?

Local councils now handle all in-year admissions (which would be how your application would be seen).

You need to find a school that you like and contact your local authority for advice on how to you go about applying, what their waiting list is like, etc.

Most London boroughs have a shortage of primary places, so you may find that any good schools that you have your eye on already have waiting lists. It shouldn't stop you from applying though, it just might take a while to get a place.
