Just a giggle for all the geachers out there. [gein]

DS is a poor writer and struggles with spelling. So far this term has done well as phonetically spelt words but this weeks spellings included Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs and yesterday. DS couldn't get them right despite loads of different ways to try and teach them.

He was getting upset so told him not to worry and rang teacher before school (I work so don't take him) and just mentioned he had practised them daily but was upset as couldn't get them right. She said again not to worry as only yr 2 and 6.2yo and spellings were just a practice for juniors.

OK no problems did the test and got 5/10 as got these 5 wrong and teacher has written 'well tried DS' with a

AIBU to be a bit that she spelt his name wrong!!

Irony at its best Wink

Yes quite mumbar - the irony is not lost on me.

Perhaps the note to yourself should read
< everyone makes mistakes >.
