Harvest Festival Offerings?

Littlemad has his first harvest festival on Monday.

As with so many of these things, I've no idea, have searched some scary looking threads on here which seems to indicate some people get arty with the packaging...I had some vague idea of putting stuf into a box....

I'm looking for current thinking on what would be the right sort of harvest offering please. We're in a very rural village, very friendly and the donations go to local people.

I've got some homemade jam and I can put together a loaf - what else, veg, tins or a nice sponge cake?

Is it being given to a charity in which case tins or bottles are better with good long shelf life. Or is it being sold to raise money for charity - I make fork biscuits takes 15 minutes to make 60 put them in small bags of 6 with small printed label with ingredients butter, flour, sugar, cocoa (if they are chocolate) whole thing takes no more than 30 mins of time.

The donations go to local people (the older residents of the Village) so it seems to be a donation to them directly.
