My two boys go to breakfast club and after school club 1 day a week. Breakfast club is 7.30am until 8.50am and after school club is 3.30pm until 5.45pm. Before the summer the charge was £3.50 for b club per child and £5.50 for after school club per child. They never give them enough to eat and mine have breakfdast before they go and tea after, I have never complained as they only go once a week. They have started back today and with no warning the prices have gone up to £4 and £6. So if a child went every day it would be £50 a week. Is this unreasonable?

£50 a week is v reasonable.

I paid my childminder more for fewer hours and she was a reasonably priced cm.

Ours did this recently too. It was fairly cheap before so I can't really complain but the short notice annoyed me. I use childcare vouchers and we can only change the amount once a year so I'm having to pay some in vouchers and some in cash and I lose out on the tax benefits.

BTW ours is now £9 for after school and they just get a snack

Meant to say ours was an increase of about £50 a month

I think that sounds cheap. Quite a low hourly cost for the child care.
My after school club is £8.50 per child.
