Hi

ICan anyone recommend any fun maths websites for my kids to mess around on over the holidays. Their maths results weren't great at the end of Yr3 and I want them to be up to speed when they start Yr4 in september. We have some worksheets but I'd like them to have some silly games based stuff as well.

Apart from Mathletics which you seem to have to pay for before even finding out how it works does anyone know of any good sites? We've done Bitesize. Someone told me of a brilliant Ozzie site but I can't remember the name. Mad$Maths looked good but either it's still being made or my computer doesn't like it as I can't activate it properly.

Would love some recommendations of sites that your kids have tried and really enjoyed.

Thanks

racingheart, Mathletics www.mathletics.co.uk/ is brilliant - your DC can compete online with other children of same age group round the world, or work through stuff individually.

It's cool, children love the points they can win and it's great fun. Very reasonable annual subscription.

If you do a Google on Woodlands Junior School, it should take you to a school's website which has links to all sorts of educational games, from a variety of sources, some of which I recognise from replies above.

Thank you Lemon. I've used Woodlands for project and literacy work before but it didn't show up in my maths search.
Mrz - you're a fount of mathematical knowledge!
