11 year old son had his first experience with drugs, i'm furious

My 11 year old son spent this weekend with his friend he met on the ipad game MineCraft, the friend is a trustworthy man, or so we thought. we allowed him to get the bus to meet trevor, the friend, under the assumption that trevor would take good care of him and the other children staying there. It turns out that the other children were unable to go, meaning it was just my son staying there. I did stay in contact with him, i gave him my old blackberry and put a pay as you go sim card in, but he ran out of credit after 3 days and then lost the phone He's telling me that on the second night of him staying there, they got bored of playing minecraft and decided to dabble with some drugs. DS is telling me that trevor cooked some kind of seeds in a pot for quite a long time, and then they drank two cups of orange flavoured liquid, and that he doesn't remember what happened after that. I'm torn here, i can't tell if i should be disappointed with my son for agreeing to do drugs, or if i should be annoyed with the friend for giving my son drugs years before i would consider 'experimenting' to be reasonable. does anyone have any advice regarding what i should do? my son is dreading going to school tomorrow, i only just got him to sleep and i'm honestly furious that we allowed him to miss out on going to mass this weekend just to take drugs from someone we gave our trust to.
