Farting

Hello,
I've recently became very aware of my 13 yr old sons farts, he seems to fart an unbelievable amount and they are always incredibly smelly, he eats a lot and Is overweight but I don't know if that makes any difference,

Anyone with advice would be great as I have considered taking him to the GP

he eats a lot and Is overweight could well be part of the problem especially if his diet is heavy in fibre, carbs, fizzy drinks and processed foods. Can you keep a food diary for a week or so ?

my 10 yo DSS farts an awful lot and is a skinny runt! I think it is a boy thing tbh. He eats healthily enough but they are vile!
