what's a good, gentle face wash for my 9 year old?

DD is borrowing her teen brother's Clearasil but I think it is a bit harsh for her young skin. Any suggestions?

simple face wash? Although my dd 6 sometimes likes to get into my clarins sensitive face wash!

My daughter has the simple face wash, in a green tube. She doesn't always use it, but when she does her skin looks cleaner to me.

Simple is a good idea - will get some of that. Thanks!

I feel a debunk coming on.

There are lots of chemicals in that 'natural' face wash, although it will be mostly dihydrogen monoxide which is the best 'cleanser' anyway. And of course we are all made of chemicals.

here is the ingredient list:

Aqua (Water), Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Polysorbate 60, Glycerin,
Sorbitan Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Oil, Phenoxyethanol,Carbomer, Parfum (Fragrance), Allantoin, Benzoic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract,
Dehydroacetic Acid, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Opuntia Streptacantha (Cactus)Stem Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Dipropylene Glycol.

BTW sodium hydroxide = lye = caustic soda.

soap is cheaper and does the same. :-)

Just water and a flannel - for both of them.

I suffered with acne from teens until my mid thirties and tried all the products for problem skin. What happened was I stripped the oils and my skin worked to replace them so more spots.

When I stopped fighting it and just used water along with a paraben free moisturiser it improved more or less overnight and has been fine ever since.

I find soap extremely drying on the skin....this cleanser feels nice and leaves the skin feeling nice..?!?!

We have Aimee for 10 year old DD. It is lovely and smells gorgeous. Doesn't dry her skin at all.
