Hi

I'm moving to Ealing/Northfields shortly and am looking for a nursery for my 22 month old son.

I've just visited Buttons nursery and it seemed perfect, but have just seen an article talking about a BBC Whistleblower report/expose on the enursery from 2008:

www.ealinggazette.co.uk/ealing-news/2008/03/07/probe-into-standards-at-nursery-67372-20569568/

Does anyone else know anything about this report or the nursery?

I also visited Happy Child on Windmill Street which seemed OK but the garden looked a bit small and I haven't tried a chain nursery before. . .Little Angels hasn't got any places and the Corner House is a bit too pricey for us. But some personal recommendations would really help on these or others.

Any feedback/advice/tips would be very welcome!

My DS has gone to Playhouse Day Nursery on Elthorne Park Road and has been very happy there. I can highly recommend it.

Hi,
I'm the exact situation, did you find a good nursery in the end? which one?
Buttons is the closest to us but I really can't imagine sending my boy here after reading the report...
thank for any advise?

I still went and had a look and the management were really warm and welcoming and the staff seemed good too, so put my child in and must say have been impressed with it so far. My child loves it and believe it or not cries when it comes to going home !!!

The nursery at the YMCA is meant to be very good but i personally can't get over the proximity to the pot smoking residents.
Little acorns on the uxbridge road is new and smart and have a friend whose son is happy there.
My son goes to Cybertots at Copley Close which is linked to the Children's centre so in a deprived area but the care is second to none. (maybe a bit far north for you) but there are other cybertots nurseries. Where would you be travelling for work?

Thanks everyone for your advice on this. My son and daughter went to Little Acorns in the end and have both been very happy there.

Hi!
I want to decide which nursery to choose for my daughter. We will move in Northfields next week and I have already visited the Little Angles nursery. It look nice, but I don't know if the inside space is enough for all the children.
Has anyone experience with Little Angels nursery to give me an advice?

Thank you!

Hello, we're hoping to place our daughter in nursery soon and wondered if anyone could recommend a good nursery or childminder in the Ealing/ Northfield area? I can see this thread is quite old and nurseries move on. Any recommendations would be welcomed.
