Need some grant-funding ideas?

Does anyone know of some useful grant-funding bodies i can apply to. Our pre-school is in need of a new roof and we have no outdoor facility to speak of so I'm looking to where we can get some financial help.

Children in Need have been recommended. Has anyone any experience of them?

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Bump

Though as an afterthought, have you asked your local borough council?
At the very least they should know what is available locally. Good luck!

Go on to Business link & search on the grant finder

Think carefully about your parameters

awards for all think there is also a link to other sources of £ elsewhere on site

children in need is hard to get unless you can genuinely demonstrate economic hardship/at risk etc

there are a few things around for envirvnmental stuff - especially for modest pots - try the groundwork trust as first port of call - good gateway to lots of information

Thanks for all your suggestions. I've noticed that there are more environmental aspects to granting bodies forms. It's really hard to have proper environmental objectives when we're such a small pre-school. I will look at Business Link and go from there. And Awards for all is already on my list, thanks again.
