Hi there, my first time of posting, so here goes.
My 3 1/2 year old goes to Nursery 3 days a week, I have one day off, and a friend with her own child looks after him in our house the other day.
For a long time now he has asked whether each day is a school day and said he doesn't want to go. Until recently once in the car he was happy and shot into school without looking back. However for at the moment he has become very insistent about not wanting to go. I've asked at school if there are any problems, and they say not, but maybe he'll find it easier when he goes 5 days. I've talked to him gently not wanting to make it an issue, and he says he would rather stay at home and have his friends come to play. He is fine when I pick him up and his normal energetic, sociable self except for the school mornings, when it is getting more and more difficult to get him to the car, sometimes just flatly refusing.
I'm really a bit stuck to know what to do about this, I am going to talk to his teachers again today to let them know it has become a real problem now instead of what I thought was just part of his morning routine.
Any wise words of wisdom please ?
