How's your Monday ladies?
I am Mumsnetting for five mins after
swimming lesson (wrestling other child poolside) soft play and Stay and Play. These kids want more! Need five mins to switch my brain off.
We are watching Nina and The Neurons - that girl clearly does her own hair and make up.

MultipleMama Mon 24-Feb-14 17:12:24

Evenimg ladies. Today has been filled with appointments for Apollo and the twin boys' first dentist appt - chaos! We received good and bad news regarding Apollo but nothing to be overly worried about right now.

Pipsmilkmaid - Apollo's the same, I can virtually drink it but cannot touch the stuff with him around. I do love a good milkshake and Horlicks though! grin

Valdeeves Mon 24-Feb-14 17:55:06

Did they let the dentist look at their teeth? Mine just says "I don't like the space rocket chair" que gritted teeth

MultipleMama Mon 24-Feb-14 18:05:36

Not a first as soon as they saw the dentist and the chair, they got quiet and started cry but my adorable ds1 who is only 5yo promised to sit in the chair with them which seemed to do the trick. In the end the twins took turns on laying on their brother which the dentist did the check-up. They were fasinated by the sucker and started giggling and the dentist was amazing with them so I think it wouldn't be a problem next time. I hope!

Pipsmilkmaid Mon 24-Feb-14 18:39:38

Evening all. MultipleMama your ds1 sounds lovely.
I'm on week three of introducing solids ds doesn't like water but hv said it was ok as he bf but the poor thing has had tummy ache and hard poo today. I've managed to get him to take a couple of oz of water but he's been attached to the boob for most of the day.

Valdeeves Mon 24-Feb-14 18:53:26

You must be tired Pip x

Valdeeves Mon 24-Feb-14 18:55:36

Just heard Harold Ramis has died - used to love that actor.

FraggleRock77 Mon 24-Feb-14 18:59:09

Ghost Busters is a classic. X

Pipsmilkmaid Mon 24-Feb-14 19:06:09

Haven't watched Ghostbusters in ages.
Not too tired he went back to sleep this morning for a couple of hours which ment I could too grin

FraggleRock77 Mon 24-Feb-14 19:08:25

Naps in the day time are heaven. I've spent the day telling others how well DS is sleeping. I'm sure it will bite me in the ass tonight confusedxx

Pipsmilkmaid Mon 24-Feb-14 19:36:40

I hope not Fraggle he's good goes to sleep about 9.30 wakes up at 4 but then sometimes ( most days) doesn't go back to sleep. Xx

FraggleRock77 Mon 24-Feb-14 20:20:33

Oh dear. I end up with DS in bed with me around 6ish! I kinda enjoy the cuddles though. Rod and back spring to mind for me though. I'm sure i will regret it!!! Good luck for tonight Pip.
What inspired people's user name? I've got very curly hair like the Fraggles off Fraggle Rock, it was my nickname xx

Pipsmilkmaid Mon 24-Feb-14 20:24:05

Ds sleeps with me we've just bought a bedside cot that I'm working on transitioning him to but the cuddles are lovely.
Pip was ds nickname when a bump and he's a boobie baby would spend all day if he could.
Night Fraggle and everyone else. X

FraggleRock77 Mon 24-Feb-14 20:26:33

Night x

MultipleMama Mon 24-Feb-14 22:06:12

I wish A was a sleeper. Seems he'd rather scream and cuddle than sleep. Doesn't help that he's a light sleeper and his own monitors wake him up when he desats. We have noticed he sleeps longer when his twin is napping but when she wakes up - he does. A very annoying cycle that I don't know how to break! I always think A is a daddy's boy, if he wants settling; he wants DH.

My username is basically 'what it says on the tin' Mama of 6DC, 4 of which are twin sets.

Off to bed now to try and catch a few winks before one of them wakes up! Night ladies.

Valdeeves Tue 25-Feb-14 20:03:28

Mines a very old nickname. Feeling a bit down today. Running a half marathon on Sunday for prem charity. I'm not athletic and this has been a huge challenge but I've got a head cold and I've hurt my knee. Really feeling like I'm going to struggle now. Just putting kids to bed.

livenlet Tue 25-Feb-14 21:43:05

Hello kangaroo mamas can I join your club ? Baby now 15 months dont really know any thing about nct groups but feel like I missed out on some thing , baby and toddler groups are alright but it would be nice to talk to people that understand sometimes,

Valdeeves Tue 25-Feb-14 22:29:00

You certainly can - what gestation was your baby when he was born? Where are you based? Welcome xxxx

MultipleMama Tue 25-Feb-14 23:09:17

Valdeeves - don't put yourself down, the fact that you're taking part is what counts and I bet a load of people will be proud of what you're doing and what you're doing it for smile

Anybody is welcome here! So welcome smile

Today has been stressful and it's my 24th birthday tomorrow. Had planned a family meal but due to stubborn PiL and their insensitivy plus Apollo not doing so good we've cancelled it and now I just plan on sleeping while I can and trying to manage 6DC on no sleep. However my dad is flying over tomorrow so at least I have something to look forward to.

Today is one of those days were I just want to lock myself in my room and let them deal with themselves and hope they shut up. Awful I know. It was so much easier in hospital, Apollo was so much easier and calmer in hospital and sometimes I just want him to be like his placid and happy twin instead being just a miserable baby...

I should sleep and stop ranting but just my luck that his monitor went off and now he's waking up... night ladies!

FraggleRock77 Wed 26-Feb-14 00:39:36

Well done you Val. I agree with MMama. Just force feed yourself tons of pasta and energy drinks the day before. That's how i got round one.
MMama, i hear you. DH is snoring and didn't wake for DS's bottle so i will now being doing all the night feeds. I might just go sleep in the spare room and leave them to it confusedx
Welcome Liven xxx

Pipsmilkmaid Wed 26-Feb-14 07:40:25

Morning all.
Val your doing something wonderful, if your knees hurting take a couple of days off training in case you make it worse.
Multiple happy birthday.
Hope you and Fraggle managed to get some sleep.
The suns out here think I'm going to wrap up for an early walk before getting ds weighed.
Hello Liven.

missali Wed 26-Feb-14 09:13:41

Morning all. Can I join in? Ds born at 33 wks- now 6mths. Generally doing well, but cmp allergy from birth and now showing multiple food allergies as well :-(

FraggleRock77 Wed 26-Feb-14 09:33:46

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MMAMA!!!! What are you doing today? Sunny here too. DS has his 4 month imms today. He got so upset last time. DH is coming though.
Hey Pip. Great idea about the walk.
Welcome Miss. All welcome.

Group has been such a good idea Val. I tried to join another term group on here but out DS wasn't doing what the other babies were doing and the group wasn't very welcoming. Upset me. Thank goodness for prem section x

heartonsleeve Wed 26-Feb-14 09:52:07

Can I join too? Our DS was born in Aug 13 at 27+2, due to fetal-maternal haemorrhage - a very rare thing which usually results in loss of baby. We were in NICU for 10 weeks, and he was discharged in Oct at 37 weeks. So now we're heading towards 7 months (4 months corrected). All going well now, but beginning to struggle a bit with weight gain. He's fully breastfed and we use cloth nappies - but honestly, I'm just normal - not a lentil-weaver!! We've started weaning (so much fun - and mess!) and next consultant check is in a couple of weeks.

I do get a bit lonely, especially as he came out of hospital at the beginning of RSV season, but we went for a walk this morning - what a beautiful day it is!

FraggleRock77 Wed 26-Feb-14 11:17:07

How are you dealing with the food allergies Miss? Does it make feeding really tricky?
Welcome Heart. Cloth nappies, you're brave! We are starting weaning soon. Can i ask what food you tried first? A lot of the baby rice/cereals seem to have sugar in them. I'm going to try carrot first i think xx

MiaowTheCat Wed 26-Feb-14 11:29:05

I've went down the sweet potato as the first food route with both of mine - they've both seemed to like it. Mine are now much older - my 33 weeker is two in April and my 36 weeker (but I'm still convinced they got the scan dates out on that one) is one next month. Cannot wait till I don't have to fart on with stinky Neocate bottles anymore (DD2 is acutely milk-intolerant)... waiting for the dietician to call me back as she's actually beginning to refuse that formula now but needs to keep watch on her vitamin intake with having no dairy so we're going to have to add in vitamin and calcium supplements I think - hopefully she calls so I can get out this afternoon, if not - quite afternoon and find something good to watch on Netflix I think.

heartonsleeve Wed 26-Feb-14 11:34:27

Fraggle - we tried baby rice to begin with on it's own - and he didn't like that, so then we tried it mixed with apple I think, and that went down okay. But we soon dropped it altogether and I still have half the packet left! We tried sweet potato fairly early on and it went down fast! I guess my advice would be to just get whatever you try as smooth as possible to begin with - though now (about a month in) he tolerates it quite thick and sticky (think mashed banana).

I'm making Bolognese for tea, and I'm just debating whether to separate some out before the tabasco goes in for him to try...!

MultipleMama Wed 26-Feb-14 13:18:14

Thank you, Fraggle. 24 years young and all that! grin

Picked my dad up from the airport this morning, took me 30 minutes to all 6DC in the car... Apollo screamed, Dieter threw a tantrum - which made Apollo worse, and dd1 refused to get in her seat. Both cried the whole 30 minutes to the airport... however they were good as gold when my dad got in, even Apollo! I can't win. Was going to have quiet day but ds1 wanted to bake so we're baking which is so much harder with a baby on 02 strapped to your chest! Haha.

Welcome, ladies smile

missali - Apollo is allergic to ibuprofen and latex, so we're told to expect food allergies later on, they say some grow out of some of their allergies so I hope this applies to you in future.

When we weaned the boys (non preemie) they'd eat nothing put select fruits for months, despite trying them with porridge and veggies.

MultipleMama Wed 26-Feb-14 13:22:52

So, I've just realised I may be confusing everybody with names and terms so just to make it easier, because no doubt I'll be mentioning other dc in relation to my preemies, so gunna list nn below.

ds1 - K
dd1 - A
ds2&3 - the boys or Dee and Dom - ID twins.
dd2 & ds4 - Artie & Halo (We nn Apollo A'lo but the DC call him Halo) - preemie twins.

Hope you ladies have a lovely day! smile

livenlet Wed 26-Feb-14 13:59:14

Hi baby was born at 32 weeks and was so addictid to oxygen we had to bring it home with us , she all good now though and bigger than others her age . Im in berkshire valdeeves I think it amazing your running marathon, I couldnt run for a bus. Is it Reading . Happy birthday to mmama

missali Wed 26-Feb-14 17:54:43

Feeding has been tricky...but it's making me make all of his food homemade...though I do use some of the Ella's kitchen fruit sachets as desserts when were out and about as they're so much easier. Breakfast wise he started on mushed banana with some baby rice...then on the advice of the dietician we tried ready brek..which he turned out to be allergic to, so now it's weetabix- which he loves! Rest of his meals are just meals that we have such as roast dinners that have been blended then frozen into portions. I am just very careful to introduce new foods one at a time so we can watch for any reactions...

Valdeeves Wed 26-Feb-14 23:19:00

Happy birthday MMama! Did you do anything nice?
Had a tough day but luckily can still run with knee after session with and talk to Sports Therapist - going to be painful though!
Both my babies were prem but I found weaning with my youngest ( and earliest) the strangest. She took a while to receive the spoon before we even got on to get actually eating anything. We gave her baby rice first as her gullet has been so sensitive - I used to have to change her clothes six times a day as she was so sick - sometimes more.
Just watched TV and eaten way too much comfort food tonight - need to lay off the sugar, but it's my best friend when I'm stressed.

Any nice plans coming up for the wkend?? Xxxx

Valdeeves Wed 26-Feb-14 23:32:35

Baby rice! Sorry this is short but I don't think my first post worked.
Happy birthday MMama - what did you get up to?
Xxxxxxx

Valdeeves Wed 26-Feb-14 23:33:32

It did work! Yes it's Reading Livenlet xxxx

MultipleMama Thu 27-Feb-14 09:33:01

I had wonderful birthday, was made special by having my dad and Halo here.

From my dad I got these gorgeous black and white diamand skull earrings. I just want to go somewhere fancy so I can wear them! From DH, he managed to sneakily take a picture of all the DC and have it printed and framed for our bedroom. Made me cry!

And from DC I got t-shirt that they had decorated themselves in hand prints and footprints... and even a sneaky butt print that suspiciously looks like's Dom's. Currently wearing it, I love it! Best gift ever. From PiL and BiL I got money, same for my family in Russia and my DB and DBiL I got a few books written in Russian - I love books!

It was an exhausting day on hardly no sleep but I really enjoyed it.

Today, dad is taking the DC (minus Artie&Halo) to soft play while I shop and spend my b.day money!

How are you lovely ladies today? Xx

missali Thu 27-Feb-14 09:47:52

Sounds like you had a lovely day, and such a thoughtful family! We're having a quiet day today, as we're off on holiday next week before I go back to work. I'm a teacher, so it's the only time we'll ever get to have a cheap holiday!

FraggleRock77 Thu 27-Feb-14 10:28:28

How many languages do you speak MMama? Sounds like you had a fab day.
I'm off to our first baby group today. Fingers crossed DS behaves!!! Xx

livenlet Thu 27-Feb-14 10:31:17

Mmama sounds like a great day I just love real pesonal gifts, the older of my 2 girls has a birthday party at the weekend apart from that will be cheering on a couple of friends who are running (crawling) Reading on sunday, when I weened the little one she gaged on everything pediatrition told me let her play in the food aparently touching feeling the food stop them gaging so much, she still goes alittle sick now at 15 months but its nowhere near as much as ehen she was little baby , I dont miss thoes projectile vomit days

MultipleMama Thu 27-Feb-14 11:07:16

Fraggle - I'm fluent English, German, and Russian, and a little bit of Swedish and Icelandic. I also know Sign Language in Baby, British, German, Russian. Have fun and I hope you enjoy yourself! smile

livenlet - I love personal gifts too.

I've been lucky that all though the DC have been fussy they've never had problems with food. Although I have a sneaky suspicion that Artie & Halo are going to be PITAs when the time comes!

We have Artie & Halo's eye appointment on Wednesday were they'll need drops... that should be fun...

livenlet Thu 27-Feb-14 11:26:31

Mmama I love you dcs names , I always feel mean when we have those sorts of appointments , we have injections next week though they are slightly late the little ones immune system isnt as good as the big ones , she gets every little cold or bug going so we keep putting injects off,

MultipleMama Thu 27-Feb-14 12:18:16

Aw thank you, I have more people telling me that they don't like there names but DH and I have never been conventional at naming! smile

I feel the same! Halo is hypersensitive mostly his eyes and ears so I'm dreading what production he preforms for the staff! I hope your LOs shots go okay it's so horrible to watch sad

livenlet Thu 27-Feb-14 13:22:40

All that matters is if you like them , My girls both have boys names obviusly I love them but somepeoples faces when they here them , she has plenty of fat on her legs so shoulnt be to bad.

Pipsmilkmaid Thu 27-Feb-14 14:41:33

Sounds like a lovely birthday Mama.

We've had a nice walk in the sun bumped into most of the other mums from the breastfeeding group all off to a weaning talk felt a bit sad their babies are all ds corrected age so we have already been to the talk and started with solids. Don't really fit in with that group plus the all seem to have limitless money where going to Costa is concerned.

DS is enjoying doing blw or at least my version of it! We had a messy fun breakfast with mango, toast and yogurt. I'm lucky he hasn't had any allergies although Turkey seems to have blocked him up so I'm holding back on meat for a couple of weeks.

Hope the injections go well and the baby group was good for you Fraggle.

MultipleMama Thu 27-Feb-14 14:43:48

A has a unisex name but with the boy spelling as DH didn't like the double ee at the end. I bet your girls have lovely names smile

FraggleRock77 Thu 27-Feb-14 15:15:57

Hey Pip. It was ok. My name and DS's age was announced first in the group with the facilitator commenting about DS being a prem. So no hiding it! I'm going to keep going. It gave me some confidence to attend some more groups next wk xxx It all seems a little forced though. You have a baby so you're expected to make friends! X

FraggleRock77 Thu 27-Feb-14 15:17:25

Sorry to hear you were feeling sad Pip. Everything costs so much. Water Babies/Baby Massage/Baby Singing!!! Xxx

Pipsmilkmaid Thu 27-Feb-14 15:56:39

Thanks Fraggle I'm ok will be seeing the other NICU mummies next week was just late in joining the click I guess. Glad your group went well our local library does a free rhyme session which I'm going to try when ds is over.
I love water babies it's great fun though I was shocked at the underwater photo cost they're more then a terms lessons.

Valdeeves Thu 27-Feb-14 21:32:45

Hi Pip, are you feeling better now? Limped around the park with my youngest today after music group. Watching a horror movie before bed - must be mad!!
Glad you had a nice bday MMama xxxx

Pipsmilkmaid Thu 27-Feb-14 23:21:27

Hi Val. A lot better thank you. How's your knee doing?

MultipleMama Fri 28-Feb-14 07:41:56

Hey ladies.

Val - I love horror movies but I hate watching them before bed. I hope your knee is okay.

I am in A&E. Halo was struggling to breathe last night. His oxgyen and nebulizers didn't seem to be working as he kept sucking his chest in. Results are back; he has a chest infection. He was only discharged last week! sad

missali Fri 28-Feb-14 08:20:14

Oh no Mmama...hope Halo feels better quickly after some antibiotics and doesn't have to stay in too long. It's a beautiful, if chilly, day here so we're going to walk down to do my horse in a bit, but other than that a chilled out day doing laundry!

Valdeeves Fri 28-Feb-14 08:46:08

How's he doing this morning MMama? Are you ok? You must be feeling tired.
I just clicked on your earrings - they are fab - where are they from?
Knee is still sore, got music group for my oldest today then probably go for a coffee as its raining - AGAIN!

livenlet Fri 28-Feb-14 09:17:33

Mmama you must of been realy scared hpoe he gets better as quick as possible , when we were in childrens wards I took the time to get some well needed sleep as it gets so boring , do you have someone to look after you other dcs , thinking of you today x quite strange as I dont now you

MultipleMama Fri 28-Feb-14 09:32:34

Val - they're from Theo Fennell there's some really lovely stuff on there smile

Still waiting on a bed on the children's ward (5 hours in A&E cubicle shock) they said they'd have one for him at 10am but at the minute they have him sedated on CPAP (he was fighting too much) and antibiotics but hope to release him this afternoon. Hopefully. My dad is still here so he's looking after them for me and DH has managed to wrangle a half day at work so he'll be arriving soon.

Thanks ladies xx

Hope you have a lovely day despite weather! grin

livenlet Fri 28-Feb-14 09:45:40

Poor little man and poor you too, Thank god your dad came for your birthday, prepair your self (just in case) to be keeped in for night as they have him sedated hope they find you a bed soon , you should get a private room as he is a prem baby,

MultipleMama Fri 28-Feb-14 17:14:20

If d

MultipleMama Fri 28-Feb-14 17:20:13

If dad wasn't here we have In laws 40 minutes away if needed but as we're sort of having communication problems with them, I'm glad dad is here.

Halo is still sedated as he took a little turn for the worse when his throat swelled but he's on meds for that. He's still on CPAP and they've asked that Artie stay in also just as a precaution.

How was your day, ladies?

MultipleMama Sat 01-Mar-14 16:06:55

Halo is now home from hospital! grin He's on antibiotics for his chest and pain relief as he has literally cried himself raw and has lost his voice. When feeding he stresses and desats they've noticed it happend more when he swallows and must be causing him pain. He's gotta take the anti's for 10-14 days and the pain relief until no longer needed.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend! smile

Pipsmilkmaid Sat 01-Mar-14 17:36:37

That's good he's home. Must of been scary.
I'm looking forward to spring and the end of rsv season.

MultipleMama Sat 01-Mar-14 21:49:15

Very scary. I've had to turn around the monitor on a night because I kept staring at, the sounds he makes when sleeping are horrible and it's like I'm constantly aware of every breath he takes, I've had to ask DH to swap sides of the bed because I know I'll never sleep by checking his monitors all the time.

I am so ready for RSV season to be over too! smile

livenlet Sat 01-Mar-14 22:09:36

Glad your little man is home

Valdeeves Sat 01-Mar-14 22:12:44

MMama how's he doing tonight? Thinking of you xxxx

MultipleMama Sat 01-Mar-14 23:08:33

He's doing better, the pain relief is helping so much with feeding and it makes him sleepy. Bonus! Still very fussy and makes himself stressed when he tries to cry because it irritates his throat so now he constantly whimpers. We've moved Artie from the co-sleeper to the snuggle nest so Halo isn't disturbed during sleep.

livenlet Sat 01-Mar-14 23:26:26

So glad hes a little better hope you manage to get some sleep tonight.
Valdeeves good luck tomoro

MultipleMama Sun 02-Mar-14 11:01:37

Good morning ladies, what a beautiful day!

How is everyone? Any plans?

DH & BiL have taken K and A swimm

MultipleMama Sun 02-Mar-14 11:10:49

Good morning ladies, what a beautiful day!

How is everyone? Any plans?

DH & BiL have taken K, A and the boys along with BiL's kids to Hauptstadt Zoo so I am having a baby and me day. I plan to do nothing but lounge in front of the fire with duvets. The calm seems to be working as Halo is, for the first time ever, relaxed on his back hypnotized by the coloured lights on his play mat. Artie is army crawling all over the floor grin

Valdeeves Sun 02-Mar-14 21:00:59

I ran the half marathon guys - but now I have the problem that I can't physically walk - and I mean I really can't!

MultipleMama Sun 02-Mar-14 22:21:39

Congratulations, Val, bloody brilliant! smile Have a nice long soak in the bath and ice your legs 15mins on and off - I used to do this after Ice Hockey matches and it seems to help, a good rub helps too. I hope walking is more bearable tomorrow for you!! smile

Bankholidaybaby Mon 03-Mar-14 00:11:49

Hello, my boy was born at 33+1 in a very rapid and unexpected fashion! He's now 27 weeks old and doing very well.

Weaning to solids is proving to be challenging as, although he loves the purées I'm giving him at lunch time, he's rarely awake for more than 90 minutes at a time, and has unpredictable naps (sometimes very short, sometimes hours) so it's hard to get milk and solids into him before he wants to sleep, and if I wait until after he's napped, it could be 3pm when he has his lunch. So, I tend to do a bottle at 12.30-1pm, then wait 15 minutes, then purée 1.15-1.45pm, then nappy change and sleep.

I haven't tried breakfast yet, despite having been doing solids for three weeks now, as he doesn't wake up until 8.30am and by the time he's had a bottle and been washed and dressed, it's 9.45-10am and he wants to sleep again!

Does anyone else have a super-sleepy solid-eater?

MultipleMama Mon 03-Mar-14 01:27:30

Bankholidaybaby - My preemies are months away from BLW but hopefully some of the lovely ladies on here have some tips/advice for you.

Halo gave DH his first smile today, kinda miffed it wasn't me, though. I keep trying to get him to smile and he just gives me this "look". He's such a Vava's boy! smile

Pipsmilkmaid Mon 03-Mar-14 07:51:41

Morning all.
Well done Val hope your legs are ok today. Sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday Multiple.
Welcome Bankholiday I started blw the beginning of feb we do fruit purée and fingers in the morning around half 8 then again around half 3 unfortunately I can't advise on a sleepy baby ds is very alert, as total strangers never stop telling me but I gave him food when he seemed most interested in what I was doing. Now he tries to take mine out my hands constantly and likes to feed himself with a preloaded spoon.

missali Mon 03-Mar-14 10:10:08

Morning all! Exciting morning here as we go on hols tomorrow...I'm making lists of all the things W may need in the hope I don't forget anything!
Will regards to weaning, W has been on puréed food for about 10 weeks now as he has reflux so was weaned early. He is only now showing interest in wanting to feed himself, so we sit him in the high chair whilst we eat and he has banana and cucumber to play with..

MultipleMama Tue 04-Mar-14 03:13:37

My children are evil. Haven't had more than an hours straight sleep since 10pm, it's now 4.15am. I want sleep sad Don't you hate cranky children? grin

MiaowTheCat Tue 04-Mar-14 12:49:39

Peace and quiet reign... Chaos and Mayhem (DD1 and DD2) are demolishing pancakes.

DD2's been given the go-ahead from the dietician to reintroduce dairy in baked goods which is just utter bloody bliss knowing we can go out and grab a croissant for her instead of rushing back for lunchtime.

With the weaning thing - my 33 weeker was bloody starving when we started on purees (her hand-eye coordination was terrible for a good while so BLW wasn't going to work in the short term for us) - took to them ridiculously well - just struggled with the sitting up part and the food to mouth part... no issues nowadays since we're onto pancake number 2 over there! She's still much more laid back about wanting other people to feed her to get the food in faster if the option's there though - her sister's very much more focused in trying to do things herself in that regard.

livenlet Wed 05-Mar-14 09:35:56

Hello ladies, were of to get jabs today the little one is really not a people person let alone people with needles ..

MultipleMama Wed 05-Mar-14 13:23:07

I hope the jabs go well. Halo isn't a people person either and hates others near him.

You've also just reminded me to write down when the DC jabs are due - Germany jabs are weird...

livenlet Wed 05-Mar-14 14:36:17

She screamed all the way home and wasnt happy till she see daddy, how do you mean weird mmama

MultipleMama Wed 05-Mar-14 19:58:35

Maybe weird isn't the right word but more, overwhelming, it seems there is follow ups for everything! They spent 2mo in UK and had no jabs, now then I was overwhelmed by them as I had to have the other DC checked/updated. I asked one of the Docs on the jabs and he linked me here - Cue confusion, luckily he explained it better on the next visit!!

Maybe it's just because the UK system seems simpler and easier to understand.

Hope your munchkin feels better tomorroe. Artie & Halo are currently having a screaming match. I think we need to work out new sleeping arrangments...

Basically it's similar to the UK system with a few extra jabs thrown in! wink

It's a little easier this time as I've already had experience with twins. It is chaos though! grin

Glad she's feeling better. smile

GP made a house call today and says Halo has responded well to the antibiotics though he it did take awhile for them to kick in. He wants to keep Halo on them for another week due to how long it took them to kick in.
