hi, im 19 and just fell pregnant the dr thinks i am 7 weeks pregnant this is out first child together and apart! my fiance is being what he thinks is practical and he wants a termination as he thinks were not ready! however he doesnt think about the emotional aspect, i think he is scared tbh. im so 50/50 but i dont think i could go through a termination. if im honest im scared too! i think i would be riddled with guilt if i had a termination! any advice would be brilliant, thank you

I read this and couldn't leave without replying although I don't think I have anything helpful to say I'm afraid. I'm sure some posters will come along soon with some great advice and support.

In the meantime don't panic! Try and get over the shock and take some time to think about this on your own. Discuss it with your fiance but also try and figure out what YOU want. Take your emotions and gut feelings into account but think about the practicalities as well. Right now you do have a choice, but it's your choice and you shouldn't feel forced into a decision by anyone.

Good luck Smile

If you don't feel you can have a termination, then don't. Your feelings come first.

I was in you exact position when I was 19. My partner thought that we were too young and at that time I agreed but knew that I could not go through with the termination. After visiting the hospital and going through all options we sat down and I told him that I couldn't do it. We now have a beautiful 6 year old daughter who we would not be without!

It is scary but you need to speak with your partner make sure he knows how you feel about the situation.

It's your body, so your choice.

Not everyone feels guilty, I didn't, I felt relieved.

Take your time to get over the shock and take some time to consider your options.

I'm was in the exact same position. I'm now 30 weeks pregnant and my partner is so excited and says he couldn't imagine us getting rid of our baby Smile
I honestly wouldn't have been able to have an abortion !! Do you have supportive family? Ours have helped so much, sending love your way Flowers

Take some time to let it sink in and consider what you want. Where are you in your life right now. Studying? Working? Do you have support? How would you manage practically? Ultimately, it's your decision, but thinking about these things or talking it over with someone other than your DP might be helpful. Whatever you decide, take care of yourself. Flowers

Hi guys,
Just an update me and my fiancé are still looking at our options, I do think we are swaying more towards keeping the baby. We have a very supportive family network and I personally think we will continue with the pregnancy.
