Experiences of having a baby at Epsom...

Can anyone tell me their experiences (good and bad!) of giving birth at Epsom hospital?

How strict were they about visitors, especially DH? I'm a bit worried because my parents come with my 13 year old brother and I wouldn't want to leave him out...

I've read about labouring on wards?? And also on the other hand about private rooms you can pay for if they are available?

If so, does anyone know the cost?

I know/knew two mid wives who worked there. Both loved it compared to our local hospital, and both were lovely.
