Hello,

Just wondering if anyone else has this, it's when the urine back tracks to the kidneys and causes infection.

I've had quite a few hospital admissions so far and the most recent one I had another scan. The hydronephorsis has got worse in my right kidney and now it appears to be mild in the left kidney. I constantly want to go for a wee and sometime there is only a bit that comes out then I'm back and forth to the toilet. The sonographer explained that the uterus is laying on my bladder and can stop the urine flow.

I'm concern because in my urine there was quite a lot of blood, I was examined and it was confirm that the blood is coming from the urine. I was in hospital this time for 4 days and the urologist explained that if I could not control the pain at home I would have to come in and have a stent put in.

I'm 20 weeks pregant and feel awful, Im on antibiotics for 2 weeks then 1 a day throughout my pregnancy. The pain is always there and I'm taking parcetamol as I'm allergic to condine, they did give me oromorth but I dont like taking this as I feel like a zombie.

No one as really explained this a great deal and when I asked the sonographer she said that my baby would be ok, I've looked this up on the internet and it said that it could cause premature labour so now I'm even more anxious.

If anyone has had similar experiences this would be helpful x x

bump too

Hope you will get some knowledgeable response soon.

The one little thing I can say is, there are soooo many things that might cause premature labour, usually it is not worth worrying about. That's why the sonographer said your baby would be ok. Because most likely your baby WILL be ok. Especially seen as you are being so closely monitored now.

Hello just thought I really needed a moan!

Feel like crap 2day, Pain in my kidneys is driving me crazy and everytime I go to the toilet a tea spoon of wee will come out, which makes my pain even worse!

I'm 20 weeks and another 20 to go don't know how I'm going to manage. couldn't sleep last night as the pain was that bad, even had to take the oromorth which I hate doing as it makes me feel like a zombie but at lease it make the pain more bareible!

I'm so used to being active and at the moment I can't even get dressed in a morning. Just want to be pain free for once, forgot how that feels.

Sorry for the essay just had to let it out! x

I've not had this but (just a guess) try going on hands and knees to move the bambino. It might relieve the pressure from your uterus on your bladder.

Hope someone who might know more comes along soon

Thanks I will try this, when the midwife checks the heartbeat she's always telling me that my baby (a girl) is always lying low so will see if I can shift her a bit and relieve some of the pain x
