Anyone else got a week or so to go?

I'm due next saturday and i'm fed up.
I know people say that all the time but it's not that I really want the baby to be here(i'm happy to wait till he's ready) I just want to be able to sleep and walk for more than 5 mins.

I've got a toddler to look after and i'm so tired I live off about 2 hours sleep a day. It doesn't matter if i go for a nap, i just can't sleep. I'm also big and feel alot of strain on my pelvis, legs and back when i walk so i struggle to walk far.

Anyone got a weeks or so to go? How are you feeling? How to you sope and get through the days?

Thanks x

I have 11 days left (fingers crossed for less!) and feel so guilty about not wanting to be pg any more. I am at home with 2DC who won't let me nap but I'm sure I'm not much fun for them atm. Physically this pg has been the hardest - I just want to be able to turn over in bed without it hurting!

I'm 39 weeks today and bloody fat and fed up! I try to get out and walk around, but it's getting a bit much.

I've got 3 weeks left and feeling shattered. By 11am I'm wishing I could crawl back into bed. And then I still want a kip in the afternoon. But heartburn is making those unattractive options.

I do hope Junior isn't going to hang on longer than hoped. I had one friend that managed to get to 43weeks!!! I'm far too impatient for that to be an option.

I am 40+9 so I feel all your pain Heartburn, pelvic pain, tired, another DD to look after, worry when baby doesn't move, moan when it moves too much! Can't turn over in bed without waking DP.....the list is endless. Here's hoping for many babies soon.

I'm due Monday and completely understand.
I'm the same... at home with a 16MO who is 'high energy' and doesn't give me a minutes peace.

Had a sweep today (before EDD!) as am so sick of being pg - I reckon a newborn and a toddler must be easier than being HUGE with a toddler!

I too want to bad able to walk up the stairs with out a break half way, turn over n bed without the pain waking me up and not feel olike me feet are going to explode with all the additional weight and pressure they're coping with. To name but a few...

first - do it, it's not so bad.....although positions are somewhat limited - I did feel a little bit like a floundering fish out of water as my usual deft movements have left me but it beats having a doctors sweep!

Hiya! first1 and madcatsazz

We really must stop running into each other like this - people will start to talk.

I'm having trouble convincing dh to do 'the deed'. I suppose it doesn't help that our sex life has dwindled somewhat towards the end of this pregnancy (unsurprisingly enough!) and recently I've been saying "come on - you'll have soon - I want this baby out!"

Not exactly romantic is it...?

So, have decided to be a little 'less obvious' and try again this weekend.

Seeing as the sweep doesn't seem to have made any difference. Boo.

SOO tired, sex has never seemed less appealing! but at least the new car is here, we borrowed my mum's for a week between cars and it was soo uncomfy. I'm sure I should be glad baby is head down and engaged but it didn't feel like a good thing on the drive to nursery!
