feeling strange... illness or soon to be labour?

woke up this morning (38+1 weeks) and feel very odd, i cant put my finger on it but i just feel weird, lightheaded, dizzy, sick, needing a poo but not actually going and just generally not right.
No contractions as such, tightening that arent painful but really intense pressure, not pattern though.

Just wondering if either im over tired or maybe this could be the start?

Did anyone else feel just not quite right on the run up to going into labour???

Hi daniwalkes

Why don't you put this in to childbirth topic - there is bound to be alot of annecdotal (sp?) posters!

I frequently have odd days so I'm not much help!

Woke up twice last night with period style backache/BH?

well it was definatley an illness thing not labour... woken up this morning with runny nose, nasty cough and sore throat... i've even lost my voice!!!
I've also got a bad tummy and had the runs all through the night which is the last thing i need!
Oh well better to have it now then when the baby is here i guess!
