Boobs stopped being sore at 5 weeks? Not normal?

Hello,

I am 5 weeks and from the point of implantation, I had sore, heavy boobs that really ached when I took my bra off at night..

In the last two days, this soreness and heavy feeling has pretty much disappeared..

I am guessing this means my hormone levels are dropping and the pregnancy will end soon?

Has anyone experienced this drop in soreness early on, yet gone on to have successful pregnancy?

Help...

Well, my symptoms came and went for the first few weeks, so give it a few days and see.
Hope it goes well for you.

Sore boobs was one of the first symptoms I had for all my pregnancies, but my boobs didn't stay sore throughout so they must have stopped hurting at some point. I am sorry I don't remember when that was, but it may have been as early as 5 weeks. Stay hopeful and take care of yourself. Fingers crossed for you.

Yes, my norks were sore up until the point of when I would have had a period, then nothing, with both previous pgs, although they did gradually get bigger, but not immediately. I also had a bleed and cramping at this point on and off til 12 weeks, but all was well.

Is there a reason, apart from norks not aching that you think it will end in mc?

Yes DinahRod - I have had brown sticky mucus since last Wednesday, on and off and only in the afternoon / evenings and only when I wipe.

I have had mild cramping too?

I am just mega paranoid as I had a missed mc at 10 weeks 14 months ago and it's taken me this long to fall again (after a laparoscopy for fibrioids too).

I was so excited to get a BFP on the 25th March (which would make me 4 weeks, right?) but I went to EPAC yesterday (thinking I was 5+5 weeks) and was scanned, but she said I was 4/5 weeks and that it may have stopped growing at 4 weeks, or it is just too small at the moment?

She did say I had no fluid around the sac to indicate blood and that my endometrium was 29mm thick - which is a good isn't it?

I am just worried because of my history, because of the mucus and because of the lack of sore boobies that it may be all over again for me?

It's such a horrible time for you, you poor thing. I had a miscarriage with bump 1, I had tingly sore boobs that stopped tingling when things went wrong. However, then when i got pregnant with bump 2 they felt sore for about the same amount of time and everything was OK. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Mine were REALLY sore and heavy and stopped around when yours have. I too was worried but I am nearly 9 weeks pregnant now. The soreness has come back a bit too. I hope everything goes well for you x

It's the not knowing one way or another that's so hard. Will be keeping fingers crossed for you.

Colour/consistency of mucus similar to mine, with severe cramps - was put down to infection in the end, but was assuming a mc.

Will they scan you again a bit later on or do you have to wait until 12wks/something happens?

could the brown discharge be some old blood from implantation bleeding that is now making its way out?

also for sore breasts, mine definitely stopped hurting quite early on, soreness didn't last for more than a few weeks.

i really hope it's all ok for you, fingers crossed.

Hello

I'm having another beta hcg blood test tomorrow as my levels should double every 48 hours, so if they have doubled, then they will scan me again in a week, if not then it's all over..

I had similar symptoms to you Amarilis - don't remember the boobs distinctly, but I had 'stopped feeling pregnant' had light bleeding and ongoing cramping and back pains for several days from 8 weeks and was convinced all was up - but went for a scan at the emergency gynae unit and found that bub was fine. Did have a bad urine infection though which was causing the soreness. No explanation given for the discharge, 'just one of those things' apparently.

I also had had previous mc, so expected the worst. Now am 37 weeks preggers. So it can turn out OK even when symptoms seem to suggest otherwise in the early days.

I think that this time, from 5-12 weeks, is the worst time of pgy really in terms of ongoing anxiety. Really hope it all goes well for you tmw. If you get a good result on Weds perhaps you can try to relax for a little bit!! I just kept reminding myself that with every day that passes, the odds are more and more in favour.
