Yesterday I went for my 12 weeks scan and I am low risk (1 in 8000) for a DS baby. Everything was normal apart from the ductus venosus. My baby has reverse flow and Ive been referred for a cardiac scan at 16 weeks. The sonographer's report says that on 95% of cases the abnormal flow resolves itself spontaneously but Im am really scared.
Ive googled reverse flow and it can be a sign of serious heart defects. Has anyone been through this? Any information would be helpful as since my scan Ive been crying and vvery sad. I had planned to tell everybody about the pregnancy but now im really worried.
