period pains 33 weeks pregnant

Am 33 weeks pregnant with dc3. Yesterday and today I have had period cramps, in the front and the back iyswim.
Yesterday it went off after about half an hour, but today seems worse.
If I wasn't pregnant I would be rushing to the toilet expecting my period to be here...
Help... realise am being irrational but am freaking out here! I know period pains can be a sign of early labour so should i phone midwife, or is it just a twinge thing to ride out?

sorry, also should i take some paracetamol to try to shift it? Or wait to see what happens...

Could be braxton hicks? I never had them with first ds so not entirely sure.
Call mw for advice though.
No harm in taking paracetamol anyway.
