Terrified I've had a missed miscarriage. Since doing first test 1 week after missed period when I had tender breast, I have since had NO pregnancy symptoms, am 7 weeks now. Had some very very light spotting last week - pinky brown mucus on wiping. no other pain/ bleeding etc. am I panicking unneccessarily about lack of pregnancy symptoms? should I call the doctor - had my first appointment last week - menioned the spotting and but didnt make big deal of lack of symptoms. She didnt seem concerned.

I wouldn't worry if I were you. Spotting is quite common early on and as for the pregnancy symptoms, be careful what you wish for. I had very few symptoms until I was about 8 or 9 weeks and the ms started.

I've just had my first scan (I'm 11.5 wks) and it wasn't until the scan that I believed I was really pg, since I've had NO symptoms whatsoever. Absolutely none. I even posted about a lack of symptoms and many others had similar experiences which were successful, so you're not alone. Previously I've had an mmc so I kept worrying, like you, that this wld be the same. I just kept telling myself that every day without real bleeding was another day still pg. It seems an eternity until the scan, but try not to worry too much.

Some people have no symptoms, some have LOADS. Try not to worry about the spotting, especially light spotting. It's common and can be caused by implantation

Like you (I'm 8 weeks) have really had no symptoms other than a bit of spotting, in my case at 4 weeks and again at 5 weeks. GP referred me to Early Pregnancy/Emergency Gynae Unit for a scan and they decided it was implantational bleeding. If you are still worried (and it's perfectly natural if you are) can you go back to your GP and ask him/her to send you for a scan? Could always try and speak to this unit in your hospital beforehand and ask them what they suggest you do?

cso, many, many women bleed as you know and it isn't necessarily an indicator of anything untoward, particularly if you're not in any pain.

If you're worries though do go along to the EPU. Call your MW for their number or have a look Here to find it. You should be able to self-refer.

not great news - missed miscarriage as I suspected - just knew it somehow. Difficult decision on what to do next wait for things to hapen naturally or book in to clinic asap. At least we know we can get pregnant and everthing else looks normal.
