I'm 39+a few and v. peed off. I'm due on my 30th birthday/Valentines Day, so went out with my husband for a meal last night (curry, naturally). Upon standing up to leave the restaurant, I realised that I've done something to my achilles tendon necessatating an even stupider walk than my usual waddle, and putting me at risk of a dramatic topple every time I try. What's the chance of getting a docs appointment tomorrow, I wonder? Just wanted to share in the hope that someone might say 'oh yes, a shagged ankle is a classic sign of imminent labour...'
