Hi there, I'm 14+3 weeks pregnant with our first and live in Stoke Newington. It would be great to meet some people in the local area who are due around the same time

Hello ToriMc, I am having my second DC in late July. Already have a lively 2 yr old! You probably want to meet up with some other first time mums for quiet coffees and cake in the Spence, not the slightly wild-eyed meet ups I am having with some other second timers with toddlers!!
When I was pg first time, NCT was good - not just for the classes (which I am not sure were worth the money) but they are always arranging tea mornings and events for meetups. And classes like pregnancy yoga at yogahome were good too.
I am 14 wks now too, and still feeling rubbish so spending most of my time guiltily putting on Fireman Sam on TV, or trying my best to keep up in Clissold Park

Thanks for the tips - I have signed up with NCT so hopefully they will come back soon (with my preferred class, fingers crossed!) I'm going to start yoga again after my 16 week midwife appt = can't wait - I lost a bunch of weight (morning sickness) but feel like a bowl of jelly as I've felt too crappy to exercise. Hope you start to feel better soon
