belly changing size during the day???

I'm 25 weeks pg and when I wake up in the morning my bump is big, as the day wears on it seems to get bigger, at night it's really big and is awkward to turn over in bed... then in the morning it's not as big as the night before.. and so on and so on.

Is this normal?
Does it happen to anyone else?
Is there a logical explanation like fluid retention or something, or is it something to worry about?

Could it just be that the baby is moving around and changing position? My bump goes all pointy when the baby is in the middle, and broader when he's on one side.

Hope so, baby is moving and kicking lots so I'm not too worried - I just find it strange!
DP reckons it's food.. I disagree!

agree with mamalazarou - my bump looks bigger when baby is in the middle and smaller when she's down low. maybe yours has a regular pattern of movement around your belly

I think it is partly due to the baby movement but also due to your own body and its changes etc....i.e. over the day you eat food and your fuller stomach can make your bump stick out more prminently....similarly if you haven't been to the loo for a few days your bowel pushes things out too.

I have the same thing, I think it's just down to your stomach being full. I remember before my belly "popped" I used to have much more of a bump in the evenings, and be disappointed when it had all but disappeared by the next day

I'm 28 weeks too and the same. I put it down to food. When I wasn't pregnant, my tummy was always more bloated by the evening, so I guess it would be the same pregnant.

I'm getting to the stage where I can't eat a full meal (I felt so full last night after dinner, like I was going to pop), which I really miss! I love that full meal satisfied feeling, now I just feel uncomfy after eating.

Aaaahhh thanks for all sharing bumps!
Ok - I won't be telling DP that he may be right though!
I also feel uncomfy after a big meal, Christmas day was damn painful!
7daywkend my bellybutton has kinda migrated to the right, maybe I lie on this side more or mabye baby takes up more space on the left.. wherever it is it's like a one-man-band gymnast!
