Pregnancy

Dammit I want a bump!!

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and starting to feel almost human again, since spending the first 14 weeks constantly retching, sleeping, bursting into tears for no reason and wanting to poke my husband's eyes out.

But now I'm completely impatient and dying for the good bit to start!

WHERE IS MY BUMP???

Shall we all remind you of this post when you are on here complaining that all the flour is on the bottom shelf of the supermarket and you had to haul yourself up the shelves again? Or when the door falls off your washing machine because you keep leaning on it to get up again after putting a wash on?

Congratulations Glad you are feeling better and hope you have a lovely rest of pregnancy.

At 15 weeks the top of your womb hasn't even got to your bellybutton yet. It'll happen though! By march you'll be well on your way to being an egg on legs.

As soon as you get a sizeable bump you also get a sensor on your bottom. This activates the phone approximately 5 minutes after you have got settled on chair/in bed/in bath with someone trying to sell you something/your dh ringing to "see how you are"

I would give anything to take my 37+2 bump off for a few hours

Ha ha! I will indeed keep a watch out for the posts around the 30 something week mark....

Enjoy this trimester! Both pregnancies, the second trimester was the best. You arent feeling wretched. And the baby is not big enough to be causing you any level of discomfort. Enjoy the energy levels/ freedom of movement.

You will look back at this point when you are 36 plus weeks and wonder why you were longing for the bump!

Ha ha you are all SO right and I will hold my hands up when I have become an immobile behemoth! I have recently started to make a groaning sound when bending over so I'm sure it must be in the post.

I could never wait to get my bump too - and I really missed it when it was gone. Feeling all nostalgic now!

Enjoy foxy !
