Tummy control tights - are these allowed?

Am just 8 weeks pregnant and, unlike with DD, my tummy has popped out rather indiscreetly straight away (nothing to do with Xmas at all ).

Am I allowed to wear tummy control tights to stop people at work guessing? Or is this a Bad Thing?

I think so, though I did read too tight tights can make you too warm down below and increase the risk of urinary tract infections which wouldn't be nice!

I would imagine everyone will just think you over indulged on mince pies!!

Thanks birdofthenorth; looking at me, it would have to have been a small truckload of mince pies...

Bless! If you want to wear them, wear them, so long as you feel comfy I can't imagine they do baby any harm! I am 7 weeks btw and sadly I think my 'bump' IS just mince pies so far!!

I was comfy and warm in belly-warming tights until about 24 weeks when it started to seem that baby really didn't like them, they made my bump itchy and I felt quite restricted and uncomfortable.

I have been in spanx and control vests so if it's wrong I am stuffed! And literally stuffed into my clothes! is it in my imagination or do you also have the paranoia that people have guessed and are staring at the "mince pies"?
