Bless you darling - you moan away as much as you like!

My friend asked me the other day what I missed most... I think he was expecting me to say booze, blue cheese, that sort of thing. But I said, 'I really miss answering the question 'how are you?' without launching into my catalogue of minor ailments!'. I just feel like I'm constantly whingeing, though DH is very patient and says he understands.

Oh wow, that's only a week away! It must be so comforting for you to know the due date so the end is definitely in sight. Will you be home again for xmas?

I will probably end up going 2 wks overdue... 2 wks extra earache for DH!

I know thz time next wk it will all b over!! Im due on xmas day but have decided (after wks of not knowing what 2 do) to go 4 Elective section!! Had quite a bad birth experience which resulted in EMCS!! Still not sure ive done the rite thing but 4 personal reason its the choice ive made...DS goes in2 hospital 2mrw 4 a small operation so 4 peace of mind i wanted 2 know what woz happenin with me so i can arrange after care 4 both of us!! Hasnt quite worked out that way tho...1st consultant woz happy 2 section me at 38wks so i would have bn out 4 crimbo...2nd consultant (who woz the 1 that booked me in) refused 2 do it b4 39wks...cauz of time of yr itz really busy so cant take me til 22nd!!! Bn told if everythin goes ok i will defo get home xmas day but cant promise me i would get out xmas eve just need 2 w8 n c!!!

Oooh can I join in? I'm 39 weeks today and so tired of being unable to bend in the middle!
Also had back ache / ligament pains so just can't be active enough with my DS1 (2.8), and just started suffering from swollen, achy fingers overnight!

Agree that I too sound like a broken record wingeing at poor DH!

First born was 1 week late - I'm really hoping that this one will be early, although I'm not sure about this w/end with the forecast for snow!!

I feel everyone's pain!

I am 38 weeks and just been discharged from hospital for blood pressure shenanigans. Medication makes me feel rotten and symptoms are crap. I can't get myself to the right temperature- I'm either too hot or too cold. There's nothing that I like eating (or drinking for that matter) and feel sick constantly.

Have had period pains for a week yet but no sign of the junior bauble. Gargh!

(This thread is making me feel better by the way....)
