... my house looks like its been half demolished, i have a cold, my kitchens a wreck, baby decided to go on 'spin cycle' from 2am this morning, accompanied with some of the BIGGEST kicks and punches ever! - so im more knackered then ever! Had a tantrum and squawked like mad at my kids over breakfast this morning, looking back it was over NOTHING, they were late for school AGAIN, so i had to drag them through the main entrance, which always feels like the door of shame, would love to have a dp/dh to help me out, share things with, instead of a big scary nobody Would like to feel like im not grumpy mummy of the month for at least ONE soddin day!! And one of my friends, has proudly announced how her house is all christmas ready and tidy, and all her chrsitmas shopping is done, and wrapped and her husband has just bought her a new diamond watch 'just because' and her kids are all well-adjusted, perfect, tidy bloody angels and she feels stressed because she's not sure her 5 home-made christmas puddings were soaked long enough in alcohol!!! OMG!!!!! AAAAAAAARRRRRGGHHHHHHHHH!!!! SOMETIMES I JUST WANT TO SCREAM OUT!!! UGH!! I DO NOT LIKE ALL THIS BEING AN ADULT SHIT!! I WANT TO BE 5 AGAIN!!!!!

OMG that is one bloody tactless friend! Has she any idea what's going on with you?

I don't have the same set of circumstances but totally empathise with you on the spin cycle baby, lack of sleep and christmas disaster area. PG women should get a special slave to sort out xmas for them IMO.

oh queen take a deep breath. Have a nice cuppa, sit down look and the mess and do like me..... fuck it it doesn't matter. Just try to enjoy the peace while the dc are at school if you can. How many more weeks have you left? x

Hello, you sound completely normal, your friend doesnt!!!!!. i'm not surprised your stressed out especially as your on your on your own. how many weeks pregnant are you?
I have 4 children and am 20 weeks pregnant. didn't plan it that way!!! I also get very stressy, especially at kids, but we are not superhuman and we can only do so much. are your kids old enough to help you? I have teenage girls and always get them to do stuff, they moan but they have to learn one day.
Have you got family who can help out now and again so you get time to yourself? I Had a friend like that years ago, don't now, she was little miss perfect, well groomed, nice house, perfect life, until one day her mum found her in a corner of the room sobbing and rocking for real. not funny I Know but just proves that you can never tell how much is a front. far better to let rip now and again I think.
take care and try to rest if you can xx

Its good for you to let it out here!

I want to give up on Christmas already and stay tucked under the duvet - wrapping presents seems beyond me.

Christmas? Whats that!?

How did you not smack your friend? I don't think I'd have been able to hold my mouth tbh! What a loon.

If it makes you feel not so alone. My whole house is a disaster, mu kids are driving me up the wall. I am full of cold, morning sickness and just dont want to do Christmas this year. I have all the boys presents bought (not wrapped though!) I still have ALOT to do and absolutely no energy.

I feel for you! Let it out!

How ol are DC's are they all in school? If so go get your head down now! Do as PP suggested look at the mess and say "fuck it"

Lol, oh i didnt expect anyone to bother reading that right old rant! im 31 weeks pregnant, my ds1 and ds2 are at school, but dd1 is 4 and just missed out on school this year, so she is here most of the time with her ever-incurable verbal diarrhea, and i know im just being a right old grumpy mare, but for some reason at the moment i just cant stop feeling like a total stress-head!! Poor old dd1 is a sweeti, but she just NEVER EVER stops talking, even now, putting her shoes on, she's saying there zips arent they? (yes) are they zips? (yes) why are they zips? (becuase they are) have you got zips? (no, i have laces) why do you have laces? (because i just do) i bet you want zips dont you? (oh yes, id love them) ive got zips you know! (yes i do know) is that a christmas tree? (yes) a tree? (yes!) did you get it from a shop? (yes) which shop?(cant remember it was a very long time ago) was it a big shop? (oh yes) did you get lost, and cry for your mum? (no) etc etc etc i need not go on, im sure the whole worlds been there and endured a pre-schoolers 'conversation' but despite the fact that she is my 3rd i still reel in shock as to how MUCH she talks i think if i had more then 0.5 of a second between her questions, i would feel quite so stressed and interogated! Its enormously impatient of me isnt it? I LOVE the idea of having a personal slave to sort out xmas for them!! Ugh, christmas, i do love it but im just not even close to ready!! If there were any justice, id be allowed to go and have a bottle or two of wine tonight, but i cant even do that!

But at the moment im on my way to the toddler club here as its the xmas party today and i help there every week, so i have to set it up, and sort the food out etc, then straight after that its ds2's christmas play at school at 3pm, then when thats finished, it'll be home, time to cook tea, homework, bath time, bed time etc etc lol, and tomoro is even MORE busy i dont even think im going to have time for christmas this year!

Queen - you sound like super mum to me! Can't give any words of wisdom as only just pregs with first - so what the hell do I know! But wanted to say that having read all your posts it sounds like you do lots and still have a sense of humor.

The one thing that amazes me is how much pressure we put ourselves under for Christmas, what makes it worse is I usually deal with it by drinking way too much alcamohol and can't do it this year. Boo!

Good luck and merry Chrimbo x
