Can anyone tell me about baby movements?

Im almost 30 weeks, and i should know by now as this is my 4th baby, but my last was a few years ago now and i have major 'pregnant brain' lol. Im not too worried, but yesterday and today baby's movements have 'changed', it feels like she has dropped down and her movements feel lower, more right down in the pelvis iyswim?? I can feel her wriggling away, but not as often, maybe she is facing my back or something because the movements arent as forceful and strong as they have been. Like i said im not too worried, because if i poke her she squirms still, but im just wondering if its normal for her to get herself 'down there' this early on??? TIA xx

I don't really know the answer but if you do feotal movement you have to count the kicks not the squirming etc.

I'm glad to see your post as the exact same thing has happened to me overnight, I am 30 weeks too! Yesterday he felt really high and was kicking away and today i feel as though he had dropped and I can feel pressure low down and the kicks feel really internal.
This is my first pregnancy so I'm hoping this is normal. I have an antenatal appointment tomorrow so I'll ask my midwife and let you know!

Im 32 weeks and my movements have changed loads in the last few weeks.

I went from having loads, to not many, to loads again but in different places.

I am pretty sure my dc2 is head down now because im not getting kicked down below! So long as you feel them on and off during the day I think its fine. They are fast running out of room in there!

It makes me laugh when my mw tells me I should notice 10 moves in one day - Like I have time to count them all!!

Oh thanks harleysmama im sure its normal for them to slow down abit, just seems abit of a sudden slow down thats all! I know what you mean mama2moo, i have a 9 year old, a 6 year old and a 4 year old running me riot, id LOVE to sit down for half an hour/an hour+ to count movements!! I too think she has gone head down at the moment, as she is kicking me ALOT as we speak, but i feel more comfortable, i can breath for one lol! i doubt she'll stay head down for too long as its still a little early, but its nice not to have the wind kicked out of me every 5 minutes for a while
