I'm 31 weeks, and i'm measuring 38 weeks - i have GD, could this be the cause?

DD was a 10lber, and they think if i go to full term with this one it could be a 12lber so they are going to offer induction at 38 weeks.

I tore badly with dd, and i also have an active five year old to look after, am unsure wether to agree to induction or not...

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Thats a big difference though. Did your usual mw measure you?

Are you being scanned regularly? It is a side effect of GD for babies to be big.

I would ask for another opinion if you are unsure of an induction.

Yes, my usual midwife measured me. last time i was 29wks and measuring 36. Having scans eery four weeks.

If I was you I would take the induction. If you have had a previous big baby then it might be safest for you both.

Would you rather have a c section?

God no - c-sec is the last thing i want!! Ideally i'd want to let nature take it's course and for baby to come when it's ready - but given that could be anything up to 43 weeks, it's kind of a scary thought...
