Took a test (Sainsbury's one - says you can do it before period is due ) on my due date last Thursday. It was negative.

Thought to myself, ho hum, never mind, try again next month. In the meantime, drinks anyone? Have had a couple of glasses of wine every day since

Period a week late, tested again this morning and lo and behold, positive.

Feel dreadful that I could've harmed this LO What's the likelihood? Obviously no more drinking from now on...

You can't worry yourself over things you can't change. In the scheme of things a couple of glasses of wine isn't the end of the world.

At least you weren't bingeing or taking drugs!

Forget about it and just be pleased to be pregnant.

Congratulations

Don't worry about the drink, some women don't find out they are pregnant until 6-12 weeks in, and have been smoking, drinking etc in this time. As long as you stop from now, I'm sure no harm will be done.

Just a quickie, didn't find out I was pregnant with DS2 til I was nearly 4 months - had been on holiday, drinking and dancing and took up going to the gym also went through my b'day and ex DH's b'day etc etc

He is a happy heathly nearly 15 yr old who is taking a couple of his 15 GCSEs a year early

If it's meant to be it's meant to be, relax and enjoy being pregnant! x

Don't worry I went on holiday and found out I was pregnant on the last day - had spent the whole time eating swordfish and drinking Had a panic at my GP who said that sort of short term binging really wasn't a worry. As long as I didn't carry on for the rest of the pg ...
ds is 5 & fine
