Stress? not enough exercice & fresh air? worries? too tired to sleep? husband snoring? all of that?
I guess you are off caffeine.

Sympathies. I now wake at 3am evry single night. (34 weeks)
I have found that reflexology helps a bit, as does going outside and walking at every available moment. It's tough.

Your baby does not know difference between day and night and so its metabolism does not slow down and therefore yours has to keep on going too. You're likely to wake up more often and find it difficult to get back to sleep. I am currently averaging on waking up 3 times a night (and that's a good night). Can you have a nap during the day?

I'm the same... I was up 15 times in the night (restless legs, restless mind, baby squirming, pains in hips, needing the loo, you name it!) night before last and then last night I think I was so shattered I DID eventually fall asleep for 5 hours straight, feels like the holy grail! I feel stronger today for the sleep, hoping it happens again tonight. I have better sleep on the nights where DH has given me a backrub just before bed am 37+4, had difficulty sleeping all of this last trimester, think its pretty normal...
