34 weeks, funny pains down stairs!

I'm 34 weeks and feel like I've got a bowling ball between my legs. (which I've heard is normal because of the baby engaging)

But today I've been having funny pains/feelings downstairs like I'm getting poked with a hot poker! Feels like I should keep my legs crossed incase it falls out! (I couldn't think of a better way of putting it!)

Anyone know why or having the same?

I'M 36 weeks on Tuesday and have the same thing.Have done with all my pregnancies.Why don,t you join the October thread or are you due in November.Good luck.
