I don't even know what happened to tip my balance.. all I was doing was struggling to open a fliptop shampoo bottle FFS!
The next thing I know I am slipping and over balancing, I kind of fell backwards and the shower curtain sort of helped break my fall.. I fell on my big arse, which I am for once in my life I'm glad to have!

I guess I was very lucky, me and bump seem to be fine.
The bathroom is destroyed however, the whole (new) bath came away from the wall, the shower curtain rail pulled out of the ceiling and broke off the wall

And it seems I can no longer be trusted to have a bath or shower when I'm in the house on my own! My DH has banned me from doing so.... I think he got more of fright than me, although I was quite shaken up. He's been fixing the bathroom for the last hour 1/2!

I can feel the baby moving and all I am feeliing is a little stiff in my pelvis ( I already have spd) a sore bum and a bit shocked and I feel really silly!!

I called my doctor to be safe, he called me back and said he didn't need to see me and that I would be fine because I fell on my back... I am presuming this is ok...?

I did this, I fell backwards into the bath for no apparent reason when pregnant with DS and got up in the night to go to the toilet.

To be honest i would give your M/W a ring, just to be on the safe side - it might be that they'll waant to do a trace on the baby, just to check everythings ok.

My care is shared between my doctor and midwife, I called the midwife and it was just an answer machine so I called the doctor who called me back, asked lots of questions and was ok just to not see me. I will call the midwife back later but I am sure she will just say if the doctor says it's ok then it's fine.

I don't have any bruising, I think the bathroom came off worst!

I didn't even get to wash my hair... just got it wet then destroyed the bathroom too much to be able to use it for a couple of days until it's fixed!!
