humanfraggle wishes she had retaliated at the kids party at the weekend, when DH's Nanna marched over to me and lifted my top up to examine my belly
Tigress is totally in love with her bump band. Put on the old work trousers specifically for "fat days" even these did not cut it so I undid the buttons, took off the belt and slipped into the bump band. I feel FREE!!!!

Tigress has gained quite a bump in the space of 4 weeks!
hoops has just sneezed and a bit of wee came out blush

Slacksally is desperate to tell everyone she is pregnant, even though she and DP still haven't decided whether they can keep the baby

Slacksally can't come to your hen night/birthday/piss up because people ask too many questions regarding her not drinking, which just goes to prove what a sop she was before.
MiniMilk really cannot wait to meet her new baby, less than 10 weeks to go!! grin (hopefully anyway! hmm) in a really soppy mood today, way too goo-goo-ga-ga for actual facebook!!! grin

AngelaCarleen can't believe that it's another 6 weeks and three days until she can have sex. Wishing DH was home now, although still hasn't got a clue where he'll sleep, I'm rather enjoying a king size bed all to myself grin. Poor Dh if he comes home after 4 months and I've gone off it again hmm
hoops997 is fed up of having to 'hold' her boobs, when she gets up in the middle of the night for a wee....hmm

hoops997 is turning into badger from bodger and badger.......can't get enough of mashed potato!!!
Thanks crankytwanky that is what this thread is for! Rah!

AngelaCarleen has bought sexy new maternity bras, NOT!! They are bloody comfy though grin
GracieGirl is slightly bewildered, someone at work today ran up to me and shouted OMG you suddenly look pregnant when you didn't yesterday! hmm (I think maybe I just needed a fart! grin but then again I'm 17 weeks now and this bump has got to appear at some point!)

ps HOW FANTASTIC ARE MATERNITY JEANS??!! Wish I had found them years ago, great for an emergency wee as no button or zip grin
AngelaCarleen is looking forward to seeing her mummy tomorrow who she hasn't seen since she found out she was pregnant (ten weeks ago!) AngelaCarleen is also worried about the description of the cardy her Aunt is knitting for her bean, sounds awful blush
MiniMilk thinks she has overdone the whole 'not worrying about what I'm eating when pregnant' thing...am so fed up of eating junk that I'm actually looking forward to no longer being pregnant so I can start dieting again!! hmm until then, going to start healthy eating until craving for doughnuts becomes too strong!! grin

I told my three year old baby will come out of my belly button (thought it a bit to early for the truth) But after watching a goat give birth on nature programme she ran around the house screaming asking why baby was comming out of the goats minky! so maybe the truth is best.
GracieGirl has just been asked by my friends 3 year old (his mum is 28 weeks pregnant) how the baby will get out. erm???? I've volunteered to babysit when his mum goes into labour so I need some ideas!!!! grin
Congrats Tigress, it's a great feeling

MiniMilk is exactly, if not slightly under, guidlines for weight gain at her stage in pregnancy...so why do I look so big??!!! blush fed up of everyone coming up to me & stroking/staring at my stomach before commenting on how huge it is!!!

Storked would like to say that it turns out the flu she mentioned the other week on FB was just masking the first signs of morning sickness. Now six weeks in, throwing up with the best of them, watching my breasts expand at a rate of knots, enjoying those delightful waking nightmares and sweats, and generally feeling like a big pile of poo. How'd ya like THEM apples?
AngelaCarleen is loving being pregnant today. For once not feeling ill (yet), not absolutely exhausted (yet) and wondering whether the second wind that your supposed to get in 2nd trimester has finally appeared (only three weeks late!) grin
MiniMilk has had really bad heartburn all day any solutions except for running out & buying loads of Gaviscon??!! Normally goes away when I eat anything but no such luck today, owww!!
Congrats Minimilk, glad the scan went well.

Josiejo79 is still pregnant and is living in 1984 in a big brother state. If i get asked every single day by my family until the baby comes if anything has happened i will scream! I will tell them when something happens, aaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!
MiniMilk is so excited after her 20 week scan - all seems healthy & is very obviously a baby boy!! grin want to shout it to the world, lol, but resisting putting it on actual facebook so posting here instead! JosieJo79 wonders if Sex really is the best way to bring on labour, and if i can be bothered to try!

Josiejo79 is due today and is pretty sure baby is not going to say hello.

Josiejo79 is going to strangle her sister if she texts me everyday to find out if i have gone into labour! It's going to get old and fast.
NewbeeMummy will sit on and squash the next person who says "are you sure it's not twins?"

or

NewbeeMummy burst into tears after seeeing a picture taken last year when she still had her prepreggers figure and has no idea how she's ever going to shift the extra weight she's gained

or

NewbeeMummy wishes her friends without kids would understand me saying I can't come out on Friday as I tend to fall asleep by 9pm is not a lame excuse!

Sorry not having the best day....

Thandeka waves at Graciegirl for being at same stage with similar history. (yay for cyber mumsnet twins!)

Thandeka is almost past the sickness stage but still not eating vegetables as they still make her feel funny. Yellow food is getting boring now.

Thandeka has loads of baby stuff hidden everywhere so DH doesn't find it and freak out, including a cot hidden behind the sofa (ebay bargain!).

AngelaCarleen is so embarassed that her Bean showed her up at the scan by actually having a paddy. Well thats what it looked like, Bean was laying face down and kicking legs and thumping fists blush. Deary me, I can only imagine Tesco in three years...
Tigress is SUCH a pregnant lady. Queued for ages to get a new maternity bra fitted at M&S and then dashed home to quickly have something to eat before feeling really ill.
Tigress Is torturing her poor MIL, have told her about pregnancy but have also told her that she cannot tell ANYONE until the scan is out of the way in 11 days. MIL may burst with excitment *EVIL LAUGH*
AngelaCarleen is havng a bad day. Spent the morning crying and feeling sorry for herself that DH isn't going to be there this afternoon, then thought the bunny was going to die, now thinks she may have over reacted (the vet thinks AngelaCarleen is a crazy rabbit lady). Now sat covered in bunny fur wondering how to get it all off before her scan in an hour. hmm
Tigress has her 12 week scan date!!!! grin

Tigress is enjoying dreaming of lovely floaty tops and stretchy belly jeans

Thandeka is 14 weeks and 3days and is fed up of the nausea and vomiting. Although it has eased she still threw up all her tea last night. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Want to feel human again. And want to stop having afternoon sleeps and feeling bleugh. I have stuff to do.
Josie will save Gracie some battenburg for the excellent onion idea. wink
Gracie thinks maybe josie could keep an onion and a chopping board handy and then she could pretend to have watery eyes for a sensible reason, then carry on with that battenburg cake!

Gracie hopes josie saves her a slice of battenburg. grin
josiejo79 is sick of her DH laughing at her when she has a highly irratic moment.

josiejo79 can't help that we fell pregnant without planning it and does feel terrible for my friend who has been struggling for ages, but that doesn't mean she be mean to me and have stopped talking to me for the last 25 weeks of my pregnancy!

josiejo really just wants to cry all the time and stuff my face with battenburg cake but is a bit concerned that someone might knock at the door.
Graciegirl is jealous of MiniMilk, I'm the only 14 weeks pregnant person in the world who is still 34AA!! Come on hormones, you've managed nausea, sickness, constipation, back ache, abdo pain, and even insanity, now where's my cleavage!!!!! hmm
MiniMilk's 3 yo DD refused to go to bed til 10:30pm last night, was still up & bouncing around at 7am this morning...& yet this still somehow felt like a lie in hmm

MiniMilk now owns 4 nursing/maternity bras in 4 different sizes, & only the biggest one now fits comfortably...still only 19 weeks pregnant, aaagh!!

MiniMilk is quite annoyed by one of the (extremely overweight) bosses who decided to let me know that I had got "huge" and was looking "really big for 19 weeks" yesterday, grrr! angry

Thanks for the rant, feel a bit better now!!

1mum1 is always sick in public loos if she hears someone pump in the next cubicle or if someone has left wee on the seat.
AngelaCarleen has made it to 12 weeks, woohoo!! Scan on monday, now just freaking out that something will be wrong. Wishing DH was home to come with me. Thinks it's wierd that there's a 5.5cm baby inside me and I can't feel anything.

Want's to sue the books for false advertising, they all say nausea should fade now. Well I'm still waiting...
Tigress swooned around M&S looking at all the wee little clothes and shoes under the guise of buying a present for a friend with a new born. Was lovely. sigh
Ah woodhj a kindered spirit! I am only 10 weeks but had the round of golf from hell this week. Had horrible wet smelly farts (tmi?) and had to be really careful when hitting the ball that one didn't squeeze out. horrible. Also watched a programme last night where people were drinking alcohol and turned to DH, "Oh what I wouldn't give for a Smirnoff Ice with lots of ice!" of course I don't really want one, just think I do sad

And for the record, Gracie and Tigress, pyjamababe pledges not to do the scan picture/status thing on realFB either... Yuck! grin

Ceebie is endangering herself by attempting to trim an area she can't see any more with a small but sharp scissors.

Would that be TMI on Facebook???
(possibly even on Mumsnet? grin)
Gracie I won't be doing the scan picture and RL status update either, how passe! wink

Tigress has played one round of golf too many and is knackered
hoops can't wait to tell the world of my impending motherhood but don't want to jinx it!!!
Gracie thinks that Pyjamababe's obsession with telling random people is totally normal, at least she hope's it is having quite enjoyed telling the shop assistant in Next! grin

Gracie also agrees with Tigress about the little and often and lots of fruit.

Gracie had her 12 week scan and all is normal, but is now a bit unsure about going public as she's never got this far before.

Gracie will not be one of those people who announces her pregnancy by putting it on her real facebook status or changing her profile pic to a scan pic.
shyla is wondering how she is supposed to get through the next 4 weeks until she can have a scan

shyla has taken to carrying a pot of cinnamon around in her bag because she HAS to smell it at regular intervals throughout the day.
Tigress has never eaten so much fruit or had such a wonderfully healthy diet. Also have decided on the many small meals option as can't manage proper big meal at the moment

Pyjamababe has finally finished work for 5 lovely weeks and is now looking forward to a week in the sun with the DH where she does not have to worry about rumours surrounding her non-drinking/days off work/fat waistline etc etc

Pyjamababe cannot wait for her next scen but will have to as they can't fit her in for another 27 days even though that is WAY past the 12 week mark

Pyjamababe is secretly addicted to disclosing her status to random strangers (shopgirls, carpark attendants, taxi drivers...) What is the matter with me? blush

mum27 wants a solution to constipation and piles as she looks a little conspicuous always wriggling to get comfortable.

mum27 wants everyone to know that she does love her DD4 very much even as she's throwing a can of tomatoes at her down a supermarket aisle.

mum27 wants all her friends to know she's feeling angry, bitchy, depressed, hormonal, fed up, tired, stressed and wants to throttle someone.....so don't say anything stoopid.
Congratulations Gracie and good luck at the scan tomorrow.
I hope your enjoying your extra holiday wink x
In one hour AngelaCarleen will be a quarter of the way through (maybe not exactly an hour hmm)!! AngelaCarleen is also wondering why her jeans are so tight when she's only ten weeks (in an hour) and the book says 'you may have noticed your waistline thickening a little' blush
Gracie has her 12 week scan tomorrow and is scared to death, she's never managed to get this far before. hmm
Erika-Maye would like to unplug her belly for a few hours to get some sleep. And would also like to apologise to her DP for falling asleep during sex.

Erika-Maye would like to take a machine gun to everyone working in the council offices, and then wish them a "lovely day".

Erika-Maye would like to ask why no one tells you about stretch marks / constipation / uncontrollably growing hair / farting / burping etc until AFTER you get pregnant... hmm
Tigress has been pregnant now for a million years

Tigress had a night out and spent the evening fending off questions as to why she wasn't drinking

Tigress is THIS close to shouting, "Because I'm preggers, of course!"
AngelaCarleen was told today by an obstetrician that she's okay to look after sf patients if she follows same infection control as everyone else. hmm does he know something no-one else does, or should I get a second opinion...

Angela I'm East Midlands. I forgot to mention, that you should inform your employer in writing that you're pregnant before they can implement any pig flu changes to your job.
Gracie you are a clever sausage! Where in the UK are you? I'm in scotland, not sure if that makes any difference but I will be showing my wd sister, clinical manager and director of nursing (all on ward tomorrow) that document in the morning!! I work on a childrens ward btw.

AngelaCarleen was very embarrassed this morning when a colleague rubbed Angela's tummy and said 'Ooooh Angela'. Actually I'm only nine weeks, that's just fat blush
Tigress should not have done the 5k Race for Life yesterday even if it was just walking. Totally cream crackered today.

Tigress is 8 weeks today and doesn't know how she is going to keep schtum for the next 4 weeks!?!?!
GracieGirl would like to give someone from the Department of Health a big sloppy kiss!!

I'm not allowed to go back to work till they find me an an office job to go to, in the mean time I get to sit at home! I'm an A&E Sister so impossible to hide from the Pig Flu in my current job.

Angela not sure what dept you work in but this DOH article on healthcare workers might be helpful Look at 4.4
Gracie is back from Edinburgh and thinks her Bean loved dancing to Duran Duran at Edinburgh castle! grin

Gracie agrees with Angela that managing to get 2 whole Christmas' and New Years off work is fantastic stuff!!! (also a nurse and only had 1 New year off in 8 years!)
Tigress is 8 weeks tomorrow and is absolutely dying to tell the whole world!!!!
(but does also love the fact that her and DH have a secret from the world)
Thandeka that is a bit freaky, I'd never thought of it like that before shock

AngelaCarleen thinks her Bean is very clever for timing this so she can have two whole christmas' off work (am a nurse, this would just never happen)!! I'm so excited about it!!

Sorry Tigress, I knew that early scan would probably be an internal, I'm sure I posted that I'd had one somewhere on here a few weeks ago though (I had prior warning so 'titied' myself up a bit first, grin). How uncomfortable are they?!?!

AngelaCarleen is loving being comfy in maternity jeans even though she's only nine weeks blush and really enjoyed seeing her baby give a wriggle yesterday (and not as my mother thought through my skin, but on a scan, stoopid woman wink)

Tigress Aww - am so happy for you!!!
aww thats nice tigress congrats

shyla is wondering how many more sticks she will have to pee on before she finally believes she is pregnant.
Oh and...

Tigress is pleased to say that there was just the one tiny flickering heart beat and not 2 Clomid babies (also have non-identical siblings so potentially high risk!)
Tigress is wondering why no one told her that an early scan in an internal?! shock

Tigress saw a little flickering heart beat of her first tiger cub this morning

Tigress's DH now believes that there is going to be a baby. Duh! wink
thanks tigress

so stressed and i am not even 4 wks yet. af not due til tomorrow.

hope your scan went well.
Thinking of you Tigress.

bellatrixiata wishes her joy at being pregnant hadn't been wiped out in one fell swoop by her GD diagnosis yesterday
Flyingcloud is now convinced she looks visibly pregnant and is now almost exclusively in maternity trousers. Although I'm pretty sure most people think I've really let myself go.

Flyingcloud is not sleeping, what the hell is that about this early on?
shyla01 is pregnant and her head may explode if she doesnt tell someone soon.

sorry for crashing your thread but i have been so tempted to write that on my real fb!
Tigress has an early scan tomorrow as pregnancy is result of Clomid- just going to take a peak and make sure there's only one baby in there! Have non-identical twin brothers so quite high risk all round!

shock

Tigress went for booking in appointment this week. What was DH's helpful question following this, "Did they do another test?" "No, DH because I am pregnant- remember?"

angry
Tigress waves gleefully at graciegirl hey girlfriend! grin

Tigress managed to get through a work night out with just one glass of champagne, an early night and when questionned, "why aren't you drinking" shrugged it off with, "ooh, I had a bit of an upset tummy yesterday" yay!

Tigress feels generally like doing nothing

Thandeka is very chuffed for Gracie getting past the 10 week mark and past the bleed panic (am 11weeks tommorrow so due at about same time)
Gracie would just like chamois like to say she couldn't give a toss about work anymore cos she's having a baby!

Gracie is pleased she has made it to 10.5 weeks after miscarrying at 10 weeks last time. Though her nerves could have done without bleeding for the last week - that was uncalled for!!! shock

Gracie played Duran Duran in the car on the way for her scan (to try and cheer herself up as she thought she was miscarrying again) and when she had the scan her baby was dancing!! grin
Gracie is pleased to find this thread has made it over from the TTC topic - well done Thandeka and Tigresswoods*.

Tigress has collapsed in tears for no reason for one occasion too many for her DH. He has gone out to get some air. Bugger.

Tigress feels sick and hungry at the same time. Weird.

Tigress has impending feelings of doom and thinks 12 weeks cannot come soon enough.

Tigress has to pee into a very small tube like bottle tomorrow and then carry it in her handbag all day (to 1:1 with boss) as she can't consider what state she might get into having to pee into aforementioned small tube in a hotel/conference area toilet.

Tigress feels like the weeks are REALLY dragging by.
flyingcloud would like a lot more sympathy for the retching, tiredness and all round pathetic-ness.

flyingcloud has not let herself go - she is pregnant...

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
