Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

Following the success of this thread in "Conception" I thought I would share its cathartic qualities here in "Pregnancy" too.

I'll give you a starter for ten:

Tigress has no symptoms at 6 weeks except for exceptionally sore nipples

See, you can't write THAT on Facebook!
hoops is 20 weeks and has just realised there will be a baby in another 20 weeks OMG!!
Tigress enjoyed looking pregnant last night. About time, I'm 24+2!

humanfraggle wishes she had retaliated at the kids party at the weekend, when DH's Nanna marched over to me and lifted my top up to examine my belly
Tigress is totally in love with her bump band. Put on the old work trousers specifically for "fat days" even these did not cut it so I undid the buttons, took off the belt and slipped into the bump band. I feel FREE!!!!

Tigress has gained quite a bump in the space of 4 weeks!
hoops has just sneezed and a bit of wee came out blush

Slacksally is desperate to tell everyone she is pregnant, even though she and DP still haven't decided whether they can keep the baby

Slacksally can't come to your hen night/birthday/piss up because people ask too many questions regarding her not drinking, which just goes to prove what a sop she was before.
MiniMilk really cannot wait to meet her new baby, less than 10 weeks to go!! grin (hopefully anyway! hmm) in a really soppy mood today, way too goo-goo-ga-ga for actual facebook!!! grin
Tigress is starting to find the walk around 18 holes a bit much and am only at 21 weeks

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]

For a no comment face, , type [biscuit]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
