operation in pregnancy

Getting a bit nervous now, having a minor op on the tendons of my hand on monday. i will be 13 weeks pregnant it is being done under a regional block.
Has anyone ever had any ops when pregnant need reasuring its the right decsion to go ahead with.
Dr said risk is minimal as long as i dont have a general.

decsion taken out of hands, operation cancelled until 27th, so have plenty of thinking time

My friend had to have emergency apendicitis and full general at about 14 weeks - her dd is 5 now and all was fine. Hope this is some reassurance to you x
