7 weeks pregnant, when does it feel real?

Hi everyone

I'm seven weeks pregnant, I found out nearly two weeks ago, had some (very minimal) bleeding, had a scan just over a week ago which showed a gestation sac and yolk sac, and which my aunt (whos a sonographer) said looked perfect (although she may be biased). Going back on thurs for another scan. Feeling tired, nauseous (only sick once though, thank goodness), sore boobs. Husband away until october so haven't seen him face to face and had to tell him in an email!! Doesn't feel real yet. When will it?

Congratulations! When will it feel real? On your next scan, then you might stop believing it again until you start feeling movement, or like me, 8 months pg with no.2, you could still be in denial all the way through - I haven't had the time to plan for this one! Seriously, it can take some time to sink in but if it's your first, you'll probably think of nothing else all day for the whole 9 months. Enjoy!

I'm 7 weeks today and keep wondering if I have dreamt the whole thing
I keep panicking that perhaps I imagined the positive tests and that I am going to look relly daft when I see the mw later this week! I'm taking the vomiting all day every day as a sign that it really is happening but I won't be convinced until I have a scan!

I've done 4 positive tests this weekend and my GP has taken blood to confirm and i STILL don't feel pregnant! i have PCOS,was told i couldn't conceive. last period 15th april, blood test 6th may said no ovulation, scan 15th june said enlarged ovary, no fibroids, confirmed PCOS and no mention of a baby hiding in there!! i have no idea how many weeks I am, very confused and worried by all the wine/pate etc i have had to try and cheer self up about not being able to have a baby - the irony... I felt a bit nauseous this last week and my boobs are slightly sore but otherwise nothing. Is something wrong? seems too good to be true, i want to enjoy this but feel really anxious, how stupid am I??

Being pregnant doesn't feel completely real till you are holding the baby

And having a baby of your own doesn't feel completely real until... well... DS is 18mo now and although he is very "real" (and quite full-on) I still have bizarre moments of looking at him and going "how weird, I have a son!" or "did I really make that (meant in a good way)?"
