Not a bad mum - just natural anxiety. I suspect everyone feels like that - I remember thinking when I was having epidural put in can't we just leave the baby in a bit longer I am not ready yet - lol.

No, you're not a bad mum at all, you're just sick and tired of being pregnant - and who wouldn't be, after 9 months. I think what you're feeling is completely natural.

I HATED being pregnant for the first 12 weeks, had bleeding, was sick etc etc, then I quite enjoyed month 5, but now, at 36 weeks, I am starting to get fed up with the whole thing again.

The bonding WILL happen. It might not be immediate and it might not be earth shattering, but it will happen.

you're absolutely the best mum your baby could possibly have. I can highly recommend listening to some positive visualisations from www.easybirthdownloads.com - they have a lovely choice of recordings and Bonding with Baby is one of them. There's also Stress Release, Pain Relief, Wellbeing, Quick Recovery .... and loads more for pregnancy and birth! Great value and very relaxing and I'm sure you'll feel better when you can just let it all happen in yours / your baby's own time. Good luck and enjoy that special moment of meeting your baby for the first time.
