As said really noticeable hot darkish nipple area and itchy boobs. Think hormones causing it but is this normal? don't remeber it from dd 5 years ago!

Is it worth trying a nipple cream on them. have heard lots of good things about lanishoh (sp!). please advise................

Sorry that no-one has replied. I've just got back from hols today and saw your message.

I've got the very same thing (I'm 15 weeks) and have to take myself off to the loo for a good scatch so I don't look really common .

I just presumed that it was hormone related.

I've not used the cream (Lano-something) that others have talked about for itchy nipples when breast feeding. I use Diprobase (bog-standard emolient) for the itching around my middle as my skin is starting to stretch so I might try that on the norks too. Mastitis is accompanied by a high temperature and other symptoms. I've blocked ducts when bf'ing ds and this is nothing like it, thankfully.

Good luck with the pg .

Hi, I am also almost 17 weeks and since about 10 days ago, my boobs have gone from tender to itchy too! Was the same with my first though so I haven't really given it much thought. In fact, its only one boob - the same boob that was MORE tender in the beginning and is most itchy just below the nipple! I don't think it's anything to worry about - unless I guess its really affecting you or you are scratching yourself to pieces?

Well, now you know lots about my left boob, let me know if you try any creams that you think are good, I'll try them too.

xx

I think that my bigger boobs in now ill-fitting bras are contributing to the problem. I wouldn't mind, but I was a 32FF before I got pregnant. I dread to think what I am now !
