Anyone PG and still 'incognito' at work?

I'm 18+3 today and I STILL haven't told anyone (bar one colleague who is also PG and sworn to secrecy). As it's my first I'm not showing a huge amount, and I am wearing carefully selected midriff-forgiving clothes.

I've kept quiet for the following reasons:

a) I don't want to be treated differently
b) I am freelance, and the company I work for isn't run by the most enlightened of men so losing my job no longer being required due to business being quiet is a real possibility once they find out
c) I quite like the idea of everyone being when they DO find out.

I'm wondering how long I can last for.

Anyone else keeping it schtum/managed to keep it underwraps for a goodly while?

I'm only 13+3 and just had my scan so I am going to tell work soon. Its my second so I feel like I am really showing though I don't think its too obvious just yet (no-one can see when I undo my trousers at my desk...)

I will tell them soon as in my line of work they will need to plan ahead for how I hand over to other colleagues. I'm a bit nervous about telling them though, I feel like I letting some people down, which is silly really. It's not like I am crucial to the organisation.

I don't think some people noticed last time until right until the end so you'll probably get away with it for a while yet. I think it just goes completely over some people's heads, they just look at your face all the time, which I suppose is a good thing!!

Yes - most of us are so wrapped up in our own worlds and concerns, then if we're not specifically looking out for something then we're much less likely to notice it.

Although some bumps get so enormous you'd have to be blind not to notice them!

I don't think its until your bump becomes an obvious pregnancy bump that (most) people feel brave enough to ask anyway. Until then they may think you've just got a bit fat and prefer to err on the side of caution.

I was eyeing up a collegue recently as I wasn't sure...so decided not to say anything. She told me a few days later she was 20 weeks .

I have a nosy colleague who used to ask OUT LOUD if i was preg when i was only 4 weeks it was well anoying.

At the moment iv only told my boss, and like HB said, id prefer not to be treated differently.

I'm 17.5 weeks with my second child and nobody knows in the office, apart from three people I am friendly with.
I'm not showing (I just look FAT!) yet and as I'm not close to anyone here, I'm not in any hurry to share my wonderful news with them.

I'm 27 weeks and have been off sick for 3 weeks but before that no-one except my line manager knew.

I had a load of job interviews while pregnant, and wanted to be in control of when and who I told - managed to hide it at work until 21 weeks. Didn't actually get offered those jobs. Have just had interview at 30 weeks - while obviously and visibly pregnant and hugely- and got offered the job! Yay!
Amazing how long it is hideable though (first baby). Loose black Zara tunic/sack dress was my savious
