Can you buy pregnancy vitamins that don't contain Iron? I have Googled but can't find any. boots used to sell them but have stopped.

It's for my best friend; she can't take the vitamins with iron in, as they make her vomit.

Thanks!

I am not allowed to take unprescribed iron tabs owing to existing anemia so I got some folic acid only tablets from holland and barrett. Hope this helps.

What vitamins does she need? I mean, does she eat a poor diet? Can she just eat better and take folic acid or vitamin D or whatever she feels she is lacking in? Most healthy women don't need to take a multivitamin really if their diet is good, their body will just expel the additional vitamins down the loo!

I take Solgar prenatal- they supposedly have a digestible kind of iron in them. The bottle says 2 a day but if you have a good diet then one a day is plenty.
