What keepsakes have you done throughout your pregancy?

When pregnant with my son (18 montsh old) I took photos of my tummy at differetn stages, kept a pregnancy diary but DP and only completed the first couple of months then got bored with it! We had a 4d scan and DVD, I kept my pregnancy test too!

The only thing I REALLY regret is only having one full length picture of me pregnant. But I suspect it was because the last thing I felt at the time was my picture being taken when I felt so yuck!

So this time round I plan to take LOADS of pictures of me pregnent. What have you been doing?

I wrote a series of letters called "dear Bump" with all my own private fears, worries, hopes, dreams, silly stuff etc. They were roughly one month apart with a few extra ones included. Stapled a photo to the top of each one of me and the growing bump.

Not shown anyone and got them well hidden away. I have half a thought that one day if a child of mine (and do have girls) falls pregnant, I might pass them on as a way of sharing and celebrating families and pregnancy

I.. um.. got someone to take a photo of the placenta... thats odd isnt it?

i blame hormones and the fact that after a very rapid pain relief birth followed by emergency op i was a little unbalanced!

Can I refer you to my birth nightdress thread?

On my iPod, I have dd's heartbeat at 27 weeks. Very strange when it's on shuffle and goes from the Ramones to bu-bum bu-bum bu-bum!

I only have three pictures of me pregnant. Agree, I really didn't fancy having my photo taken. Wish I had more though - as a size 22 at the time I was convinced I didn't have a bump. When looking back at the photos I have, you couldn't miss it!

Kept my pg test as well but it was a CB digital so it's just blank!

I kept my pregnancy tests for all 3 of mine. My oldest is now nearly 8 and the line (not digital...didn't have them in the old days!!!!) is still there and really bright. Now 24 weeks pregnant and have done the same . I hope the children don't think I am a freak when they see them when they are older!!!

I have a picture taken of my bump every week or so and I write a weekly letter to my baby in my blog. Its about how I feel and what stage the baby is at and such.

You can read my blog here, if you're interested

Just warning you.. I seem to be very sentimental!!

I took bump photos monthly. I have both a pregnancy diary and a scrapbook for each DC (I am currently pg with #4) and a recording of their HB. DH and I also did a tummy cast with our last 2 pg. A lot of fun, and an interesting keepsake. My DCs love to see what their mum looked like when they were in my belly. Lastly, I let my DC paint a picture on my tummy and took photos. It got them involved with the pregnancy too.

Tee2072 - I enjoyed reading your blog...I might do one for this pregnancy! I gave up with my pregnancy diary, but I'm always on the laptop so it might be easier to keep up!

Thanks kaekae. I am hoping to keep it up once baby is born, but who knows if I'll be able to!
